I competely agree with you. Its very hard to quit a 9 year habit though for a smoker like myself I must say that in the 3 days I have gone from 10 cigarettes a day to 5 an from 4-5 cups of coffee a day to 2. I want to decrese this until its oblivion.

I did look into the macrobiotic diet as well as the raw food diet. Heres the thing: I get discouraged quickly if I do not see immediate result.

I know that sounds shallow but what I want to do is really improve my self image and esteem and then to follow up on this fast to start introducing such diets as a permenant fixture in my life. I did this before 2 years ago but I was really in denial about my smoking habits. Something happened to me about 6 months ago - it was nothing emotional or physical rather it was psychological - I was ashamed of being a smoker and ashamed of admitting it. Once I realize this I realized that I have to quit because I am starting to not love myself and falling into depression.

I agree about the losing faith that is why I dropped a few bad infulences in my life over the last 6 months and I want to re-invent my self in terms of health and well being...

thanks for the note and thanks for letting me spill some of my issues out. I needed to.

Cheers!!
