Thanks for your response! The lab did not test for heavy metals. But I think that my hair problem must be from my rapid weight loss- perhaps that combined with the stress of being a first-year doctoral student. My main concern is whether it'll grow back now. Not everyone experiences regrowth. I hate wigs and hats in hot weather!!! And I ain't purty enough to go bald. :-)
