Remember Love is what it is all about. Nothing else matters.

Weddings are about love, not being a size 2 or a size 4 or even a size 14 or size 22 or all those sizes added together. There is not such a big difference between 180 and 160 lbs. It is just a few pounds. Your man should love you as you are now, as you were and whatever size you may become.

You should try to relax, look and feel happy. Don’t starve yourself. You are making an important step in your life. You need energy. You found your soul mate. He may come with some baggage, mother-in-laws, sister-in-laws etc. Just remember to leave the baggage at the door when you check in to your honeymoon suite and your married life’s dwelling. Don't let this tension get between the two of you. Let it slide off your back and land on the floor. Jump on it, stand on it, ignore it. Whatever works for the two of you. Your family may also be driving him nuts or may in the future. It does not matter, unless they are moving in with you.

Try if you can to lock landlords out too. By law they are supposed to call or give written notice before doing repairs. While you are away maybe you should hire someone to mow the lawn or perhaps share the expense with the landlord. (usually once a month or every 3 weeks should suffice) I would write a nice note back to the landlord explaining because of the rain and your hectic schedule it was difficult to mow the lawn, but he should feel at ease you plan as you always have done in the past of keeping up with the yard.

Too bad that there are no laws for in-laws. I hope your phones have caller-id. It is important when necessary to screen calls and visitors. Besides answering machines there is voice mail offered with most phone servivces. Take advantage of this technology. Your life and your commitment to your fiancé takes top priority.
Personally I prefer e-mailing my relatives; at my convenience I let them know what is going on in our lives; we try when we can to schedule dates preferably in public places such as a music concert, a show etc. where a lot of conversation is not required.

If you want to get your mind off your problems visit HarpoLove or Plant Your Dream, I am also working through issues of my own; my Dad, Harpo died in May it comes with a lot of emotional baggage and I have in-law problems as well. I have been married 26 years. There are highs and lows (especially with our 4 children) but no regrets.

Best wishes!
