Fruit and vegetable juices have water soluble highly absorbable proteins.

Also, the body has a store of protein, and it uses it selectively. Dieing cells are the first to be used and healthy and vital tissues are the very last and will only be used as a last resort (so I've read, anyway). If I really get concerned about my protein loss I will add spirulina to my juices. I've read that 30 days is completely safe for this type of "diet" if you will (many people have done 50,60,90, and 120 with positive results).

I'm hoping to build back up after the fast as well (I've already purchase 10 private training sessions at my gym after I'm finished) Actually, I'd like to do more research on the best way to do that. Not to sound vain but I'd like to be able to be happy with the way I look (as well as how I feel ;).
