Real Vervaine Tincture Recipe
The alkaloid can also be extracted by alcohol but it takes time. Best practice is to let the mixture steep for one moon cycle, 28 days.
Ingredients:
- 70g Verbena officinalis
- 250ml (1cup) of 40% Vodka
- Distilled water to top
Steps:
- add Verbena and 500ml of Distilled water 1L/Q Mason jar
- give one hour to soak with lid off
- add 250ml Vodka
- top with distilled water
- seal with fresh canning lid and shake
- place in dark area for 28 days
- when done strain through cheesecloth

Note on Vodka for Tincture making
A couple of quick notes on the type of Vodka that is best used:
Even the cheapest Vodka is double distilled and can be used to make tincture. However this tincture can not be early decanted and needs a minimum 14 days, 28 days is better for the toxins to be absorbed by the plant material.
This will give the strongest extraction because the toxins left by only distilling twice extract more from the plants.
Similar to aging Whiskey in a barrel where these toxins penetrate the wood and extract flavor from it.

Frq cannot be used on this toxin, Moly-B will bind both the toxin and the bio-unavailable copper...
Shielded Tapeworms bind copper which is toxic to them, when blown up this is released as a toxin bound with copper. Originally I took Manganese but Moly-B turns out to be a better mop up for this.
