Preparation for my water fast.

Today is January 7, 2011. (Happy new years). I am preparing for my water fast that will begin tomorrow by buying a few gallons of drinking water etc. The reason I don’t want to start today is because I had breakfast, and although you can begin a fast even after eating, I prefer to start on an empty stomach especially for when I weigh myself in the morning. My body mass index is just 4 percent over, so I’m not extremely out of shape, but the reason as to why I would like to do this is because I would like to cleanse my body, gain a sense of being able to control myself, and loose about 15 ... read more

How I feel about fasting.

I believe that any type of fasting takes discipline. Honestly, I have attempted fasting four times and have never succeded to the fifth day. I am hoping that making a daily journal will motivate me to continue on to the 30 day fast that I anticipated. I guess the smart thing to do is take it one day at a time. I try thinking positive but just one thought about food just fails me. Help!!!!!!! visit the page
