African Americans and Katrina 19 y
Hurricane Katrica opens eyes to others suffering in the world.
When I see the pictures of the hurricane survivors, the majority of them being African-American, I can hardly keep from thinking, this is the way it is in Africa every day. People are starving, they don’t have clean drinking water and babies have no diapers or formula. The camps that hold up to hundreds or thousands of people are as unsanitary and disease prone as the Superdome and other refuges the people have taken in New Orleans and other cities. To raise up a child in victory
As Parents and future Parents, we have a calling to raise up our children to be biblically literate, to be morally strong and to have steady inititive to achieve great things for Christ. Why does it seem so hard? Why are so few families able to raise up godly seed? I say this, if only I could encourage Parents, that there is a way to train up a child in the way he should go! Zappers for Africa
My first post regarding this was in the Zapper Support forum. I had little response. I don’t believe there is no one interested, but it seems that no one knows where to start. ParaZapper, from the Para Device website was telling me how hard it is to get them to eccept the Zappers, even as gifts. The people over there want to charge for their use and it’s outrages! Zapperplans.com makes a Zapper for $10, and Para Devices makes a Zapper for $49.
