Day #7 All-Raw Vegan
It's going well -- for me, just the tiniest "taste" of X-rated food flings me off the wagon, fast or slow!

Well, I was looking up more about Gillian and the show "You Are What You Eat" and I see that her idea of vegetarian includes fish and whole wheat pasta, but still, it's the closest thing to good nutritional advice I have EVER seen in the major media, and switching to her kind of vegetarianism would be a great transition for more Americans. They could always decide to leave off the fish and pasta as they go along...
I'm doing very well on the raw vegan diet, but I've been hitting the jasmine green tea with honey (and stevia) a bit hard. I think I'll have to force myself to stop drinking it for a while just to make sure I'm not getting addicted.
One thing I discovered about my cucumber-tomato-onion-bell pepper-sunflower seed-pumpkin seed-lime juice-a.c. vinegar-cold-pressed extra virgin olive oil-black pepper-Celtic sea salt salad is that it tastes better when it sits for a while before I eat it. I made some the other night and then didn't eat it for 2 hours and it was SOOOOOOOOOOO delicious...!
The snow is pretty much all melted and now it is very muddy but I have high hopes that by tomorrow I can walk outside and by tomorrow or Friday I can go check out the dandelions again!
My diet doesn't vary very much right now, but that's okay with me since one main meal is more the non-sweet and salty and the other is the sweeter and I know I'm getting all my nutrients (with the help of Krill oil for Omega-3s and B12 vitamins from time to time, etc.). I ran out of Natural Cellular Defense (liquid zeolite) yesterday, but I have more coming in the mail within a few days. I love how it takes radiation and all manner of "modern day pollutants" out of the body so safely and without discomfort.
People who are the MOST addictive personalities often do work with other addicts once they are in recovery and this helps them "stay clean." For this reason, and because I would love to help others, my wish and goal is to help others who want to stay on all raw vegan diet. I won't be able to do much until I get more well myself, but I can at least organize raw food potlucks once I move back to the city.
That's it for now. Have a RAWESOME day!
Michele
