Resisting Temptation

Today, I was woken up by my sister - the New Years Eve Glamour Queen - she wanted me to be dressed and ready to go out shopping for "the perfect outfit" in a half hour. So I quickly weighed myself - 1.2 POUNDS more down! I quickly got ready and juiced a Strawberry Kiwi juice - it was actually NOT what I expected - it was kind of tart and strong, so I diluted it half way with water. I spent a few hours shopping and such which was good exercise! Then I came home and drank some veggie broth before I went to work. At work I was sent home due to barely ANY kids and super low staff (I work at a daycare). So my boyfriend and I went to the movies instead - we saw Juno which was cute! I sipped on bottles and bottles of water as I watched which was pretty good. When I got home I drank some more veggie broth since my parents are having a New Years Eve party and I couldnt really pull out the juicer. Tonight I plan on getting a Coconut oil massage from Todd (beneficial AND relaxing) and then I will dry brush and take a salt bath. Woohoo! Fun new years eve right? lol Oh well - I cant go out and drink .. I would probably DIE since I have NOTHING in my system, I dont drink anyways, and I am only 19. So I will have a relaxing movie night with Todd while everyone else around me parties and gets hammered. lol What we do for health right?
Overall I had NO cravings today! No hunger, nothing. I feel great - amazing actually! I am going to stay away from all the oodles of food that is displayed downstairs at the moment and just stay upstairs away from it all. I am getting really good at declining any and all food items. Today my sister practically BEGGED me to go get sushi with her and as much as I would have previously loved too, I politely declined. Yummy sushi IS healthy and will always be there for me when my juice fast is done and over with. It will probably become a pretty big staple since it is so yummy and healthy - I love salmon too .. that is going to be a biggie as well! But in the mean time, I am loving my juice fast and the way it is making me feel! Hope everyone elses is going well as well! HAPPY NEW YEARS!
