As you may know, I have been following
S510 and related legislation for a long time,
and my most recent shows (#697, 698, 699 & 700)
were all focused on that legislation.
Like many others, I have come to the belief that
this "Food Safety" legislation is really designed
to make food safe for industrial producers
by eliminating local food.
The emperor, in other words, wears no clothes!

Michael, just had a dream. There needs to be a movie called "Educating Washington." It begins with closing the gap between participation in Government. We can not leave the fate of our food to 100 senators.
This is absurd to give them the vote on the future of our food. The entire hearing on s.510 needs to be recorded and studied by lots and lots of people. Please make sure you record the hearings november 17 so we can begin so the educaiton process begins.
I need to ask ask lots of us to record this for future use.
I hope you rrecord and listen in to the hearings that begin November 17.
Thia should be major event, influencing the fate of our food.
Did you hear that Europe has outlawed natural herbs by April 2011?
I am new to a lot of this.
That needs to be subject of shows, if you have not done them yet.
