Day 8: A lil better =D

Day 8 of my water fast.

Day 8 - Feb. 20, 2011

Woke up slightly earlier . Around maybe 12ish because my cat kept going in and out and the springs on my bed were hurting. I've started to notice my body is starting to adapt to fasting and my digestive system is resting, no gasses and haven't done number 2 in like 2 or 3 days. NO more hunger pangs, at least today. Although the thought of food still comes in my mind, oh how I love food. My senses seem to be getting better too, at least my sense of smell to food lol. I haven't checked my weight since I have been a little busier.

Yesterday, I was feeling down and I didn't like my hair since it's grown messy a bit, so I gave myself a buzz cut. I feel better now, I think I will stay with this look. It makes me look aggressive seem like a gangbanger , but at least I look more mature and feel okay with my hair. It took a while and my energy was draining, but it was worth it. Tired of being called "young man", despite having facial hair but being 5'6'' and don't get me started when I had shoulder length hair and being hit on...

Showers are still tiring, but it's getting better. I think fasting is also helping me cure my insomnia since I am sleeping earlier and plan to sleep earlier today. And to finish my day, just watching the NBA All Star Game. Damn Rihanna is sexy. That's all I'm going to say lol.
