What can this be? With my tongue, I can pull down long (very long)strands from my gums, about 1/4 in. wide, unbreakable, invisible to the naked eye, and continue to reappear even after pulling them out of my mouth (as best I can since they are invisible). Sometimes they have a thick tar-like base that stick to the roof of my mouth or teeth, so more difficult to pull them.
Also, wide films come from under my gums, under about 4 or 5 teeth, that I can pull down with my tongue. It's usually a thinner substance than the strands, also invisible, difficult to penetrate, and returns.
Can anyone tell me what they think this is? I have been thinking it's parasites producing these things, but perhaps something else(?)
Goo sometimes seeps from my gums too.
