I should really try and write in here every day as now the days seem to be blurring into each other...
Ok, Day 12... friday. I had a busy day at work. Felt pretty energetic and clear minded. Was a bit tired by the end of the day and a few mental food cravings but all in all it was good. Day 13... saturday. I had the day off which was great. Did hot yoga finally! I was a bit weak and not my usual vigorous self, but I managed not to lie in child's pose and got through the class feeling good. I will go again tomorrow. It felt good to sweat, do some breathing exercises, stretch, and move my body. I love hot yoga. I rewarded myself after class with a yummy pineapple juice slushy! Mmmmm... In the book the author talks about how she wanted less sweet fruit as the cleanse went on and more greens, but I feel the opposite. I am getting tired of the greens and crave the sweet fruits more than anything. It's become my treat to have just straight pineapple or apple juice with crushed ice. I am also liking the tomato 'soup' with some herbs and maybe a tinge of garlic. Especially as winter seems like it's finally arrived. The small things that keep you going!
Today is day 14... worked in the morning and had loads of energy. This afternoon I felt like I was bit hungry for the first time; like I wanted to dig my teeth into something. Although one of the girls at work made valentines cupcakes and they looked good, but I had no real interest in eating one. I am craving more protein I think. A veggie burger or turkey sandwich... mmm bread.
Instead I will have some tomato 'soup' for 'dinner' and keep on truck'in. Almost half way to my 30 day goal! I feel awesome; lighter, cleaner and my clothes are starting to fit better. Happy Juicing!
