Here I am on the eve of my first day of a 50 day water fast. I know I'll never be ready for this. I am just going to have to do it. I am pretty sure that every ounce of my being is going to want me to give up and the statistics would show that I probably will. But ultimately it is up to me and only me. I am going to decide weather or not I will eat or not. I believe that nothing can really replace a good dose of determination. Life has become so easy for so many of us that most of us just want what we want when we want it and the idea of intentionally putting off something that is pleasurable because we may get something better in the long run is too hard for us. Well guess what... sometimes you gotta suck it up and do what you know needs to be done. I am water fasting to get all the crap out of my body and hopefully eat up some stuff that is making me feel run down all the time. I just want to detox and feel better. I believe this is the answer. Day 1 is Tuesday July 10th, 2012.
