Crazy things happening

I never thought that I would get "detailed", but the blogs that are in depth have really helped me out. Anyway, so today I had a bm, and for the first time there was mucous in it. I have read how other people have experienced this, and I thought, "What's the big deal?" But it really grossed me out to think that was in me. However, it definitely encouraged me, because I now know I am doing the right thing and it is working. (I would hate to think that I fasted for a long time only to find out it was a waste.)

Oh, and I mentioned that I had garlic in my juice yesterday. Well, today I was caught off guard when my urine smelled like garlic. I didn't expect that.

My upper back aches which I am assuming is part of the process. At least I hope it is. My head quit hurting...woo-hoo!

I went to the farmer's market and grocery store today. I would have never drooled at the thought of eating dinner made from the produce department, because I was raised on the SAD diet. But ohhhhh, those apples, those greens, those strawberries!

I cannot wait until I get to eat. I guess I will have to. What I want the most is vegetable soup...mmmmm. Tomorrow is day 7, and if I make it through that, I will have made it through my first week.

I am finding that I am appreciating food much more than I ever have. I guess I just took it for granted.
