Day 7 MC: Ready or Not?

A day of ups, downs, and overdesigned shoes

Day 7 was a bit of a roller coaster for me. I had a half cup of the lax tea before bed last night (didn't seem to make much difference to my, um, morning ritual) and got a good night's sleep. Felt great this morning, did the SWF easily, ran, took a lavendar/sea salt bath, went shopping (won't you take me to...Nike Town!). I had a lot of emotional stuff come up, though, stuff I really don't understand or know how to deal with. It came and went like a thunder storm. Makes you think that a lot of your emotions come from your physical state, doesn't it? Or is it the other way around?

Anyway, I'm going to do 10 days because I signed on for that, and the cleanse isn't really difficult for me at this point. But I feel sort of over it. Last night I met a friend at a juice bar, and I was mentally taking note of the cucumber, bell pepper and arugula juice they make. I think I might break my cleanse with veggie juices instead of OJ -- I've always hated OJ.

One weird thing: I don't even seem to want my lemonade today. It's almost 5 p.m. and I haven't even had 3 servings yet. I ran 4 miles and walked about 5 miles -- you'd think I'd be knockin 'em back, right? Strange. I'll try to get to 6 servings tonight, but I really feel like I'd rather have water.
