Self Improvement Day 5 by ausjulie .....

i am a little behind in my work its been hard for me to say focused..but i am still trying

Day 5

Thoughts
Two and half years ago I really did some major work on fixing my weight and my overall health. I am now slightly overweight. I would like to come to a place of acceptance about this. My body seems to revert back to my current weight. I lose the 10 pounds that I want to lose and then slowly it creeps back on. I should be happy where I am at and I guess a lot of that is letting go of what the media portrays as being normal. I want to concentrate on how I feel rather than how I look. Generally when I feel better I look better.

How would you rate your health in each of these four areas-spiritual, physical, emotional, relational – from one (terrible) to ten (fantastic)? What is the greatest challenge to improving your health in these areas? What can you do to work through this challenge?

Spiritual – 8
When i am conscious of it i do really well. in general i live my life to the rules of karma. however it is the little things i want to concertrate on. I just keep forgetting how important is. I need to constantly be checking in on myself and being more conscious.

Physical – 7
Would like to lose some weight. I can do this easily and not allow food to become such a big issue. I want to run more I am at 3 times a week but I would really like 4-5. I also want to be physically Want to cut back on drinking. Just work on controlling it more.

Emotional – 9
I was going to give myself a 10 but I think there is always room for improvement. I know I am good at this. I recognize my emotions but majority of the time do not let them determine my decisions. I analyze them. Fix them if need fixing. I am not needy

Relational – 8
I know my husband and I are in a good place. We work on us everyday. We are committed to making us work and being happy and growing together while maintaining our individuality. I want to work on my relationship with my kids. Being a good parent is not only for them it is for me. It is really important to me to be the best I can at it.
