As a multi media artist, I love to collect all kinds of handmade, decorative and other kinds of paper. I also seems to have endless images in plastic containers, drawers and bags. Occasionally I look through the various collections to get inspired. I found a black square with a hole in it, then the face that fit in it perfectly. As I moved on, the thing took a somber tone and ended up showing the grim reaper, a skull and various other images. Significant in that we all have to face death and since I do a lot of midwifing, helping people pass from this dimension into another, 5 felt this was very appropriate.

The strip mining collage ...was based on a picture I saw of a strip mine and a
TV documentary on blood diamonds...diamonds traded for guns. there are now other metals being taken (by force if necessary) to get guns. The small "poen' at he bottom left says:
Bands of silver, bands of gold,
ever lasting we've been told,
Bloody diamonds bounty of war,
Raped the Mother in daylight bold.















The 2012 is a look at a view of
what may come with the changes leading up to 2012.
There is the Buddha representing the Spiritual,
There are many geometrical figures representing the logical, the order,
the old way 3-D thinking.
Then there is red blood being spilled i the wars, as well as earth changes.
the eyes of the universes are watching to see how we will go through the changes and the Mother is radiated into odd colors.
