The G.I. Diet by #97782 .....

I may be late to the party, but I'm here!

I was waiting for my G.I. Diet book (by Rick Gallop) to arrive; I got it yesterday. Thank God. This book seems to be better adapted to an american audience than the Montignac method, and it makes more sense to me. for instance, there are pics with plates to demonstrate what the amount of each food portion should look like. I was eating too much pasta. Thank goodness it was only two meals - whew! I have eaten breakfast & lunch and enjoyed both meals. I have that good feeling inside that tells me that if I just keep doing what I'm doing, I will get to where I want to go...I'm loving the variety, and my body appreciates the fiber. My skin is benefitting from this diet too.I'm only a little sad that half & half is not on phase 1 of the diet, because I like it in my coffee. I know I can live without it; but in the mean time I'm going to enjoy what I have left, then use skim milk - a bikini bod is worth it. You know what I wonder? Why I wasted so much time doing everything else just to get to this point? What is that about? Why do we do that?...
