I have gone to the gym only once this week. I had trouble staying on my schedule. I am adding prayer/fellowship time in the morning ...and got so discombobulated trying to figure out where to squeeze in 8 full hours of sleep, and two hours at the gym plus commuting time.... What's the answer? I'm going to keep my time at the gym short, but productive. Kermie, I did a little research on Pace Power. It appears that Dr. Sears includes cardio intervals which is something I'm also doing. I'll put his book on my "to get" list. Even with this sluggish week, I am counting my efforts thus far a success, because I have maintained my weight loss for over a month. That's something. I think if I can do this every month, I will be able to maintain my goal weight too; once I get there, without yo-yoing up & down. Won't that be grand? My diet is pretty good too. About 90% unprocessed food - not counting the protein & power bars. I ended up purchasing four books: the two I told you about in the last post, and two more: Strength Training Anatomy, & Women's Strength Training Anatomy - By Frederic Delavier. The last two books have illustrations of the body where you can see what muscles are actually being used while performing various exercises. Something to keep my mind engaged...
