Thank you, always, for your good words.
I am clutching at straws. I slept most of the day yesterday and could not shake the gloom. I did not want to wake up, but to sleep, maybe to die. I apologize for being so blatantly honest emotionally,
but why would I ever lie to you about anything?
Like trying to lie to God . . .
Sadly, I think if someone threw enough money at me,
I would be just fine; but that is a hideous distortion
of the human experience, isn't it?
Perhaps the worst thing that has happened to me
is that I have lost my dreams. I am not sure they
are attainable any longer. How wonderful
that I have met someone like you who is all about dreams.
My most cherished dreams had nothing to do with money or jobs,
which were only the means to the desired ends.
I have never made much money.
I can imagine doing things for money that I really enjoy.
However, I may have ":aged out" of getting
the opportunities to do them.
I do not want to bring you down, and I am a naturally "high" person,
other than my present troubles. I do hope you
do not give up on me and will continue to write and encourage.
How were the parties yesterday?
Did you attend the birthday parties?
I was not connecting all that well yesterday or
I would certainly have accompanied you.
Perhaps I should attend your meeting this evening . . .
what do you think?
Much love and gratitude,
"Only that which cannot be taken away by death is real.
Everything else is unreal, it is made of the
same stuff dreams are made of." ~Osho

Mark Victor Hansen.
I have been looking for this book
to lend to Kerry Echo,
the author of Vagabond,
her blog on living in her truck.
Care of Poor People, otherwise referred to as C.O.P.P. Inc is a non- profit organization that is dedicated to helping those that are struggling in our community as well as teaching other communities how to do the same! We aid the homeless as well as people that have housing, but have fallen into hard times and simply need some assistance for the basic necessities to live.
C.O.P.P. has put together on-going community programs and has several large warehouse events each year that are specifically targeted at providing food and clothing to those in need. It is through the help and generosity of many volunteers and businesses that these events are put on. Please look through our website to read further about our events and programs to see how you too can be involved with helping those in need in Kansas City!
THE BlOG OF KERRY ECHO
who now lives in her truck.
She helped clean my room
last Sunday for three hours and it made a difference.
This grad of the University of Chicago,
part of the middle class homeless,
