an update during the gap year

The mud, my base, is Roman Catholic christianity.
The Blooming Lotus is buddhism.
The Energy that is in and around the plant and penetrating all that is on Earth is the Holy Spirit of the Lord and Lady together.

That is where I am in my spiritual gap year. I am not likely to return to being practicing RCC BUT I love Pope Francis either way. Also, out of respect for my husband, I stay a member. Maybe one of these days I will go to weekday mass.

Working on:
learning runes and motherpeace tarot cards...runes have taken a backseat to MPT because more people understand tarot
cleaning up my altar table
lengthening my meditation time
astral projection with Dick Sutphen
mediumship skills

Achieved:
daily meditation
more mindfulness
acquainted with Mother Earth's wheel of the year
daily prayer


Obstacles:
Eight Gates meditation...that's another post
work life and home drama
husband worried about me practicing witchcraft

When I decide what I am going to stick with, I shall indeed deepen the chosen practice the next year since I'm not likely going back to nursing school this year. Not really feeling it.
