Shifting Beyond Mainstream! by Chef JeM .....

"Mainstream" has been a primary conditioning factor (regardless of whether one "trusts" it or not).

"Americans' trust level in the media has drifted downward over the past decade. The same forces behind the drop in trust in government more generally, as well confidence in many U.S. institutions, may also be at work with the media."[1]

I accept the decline in trust however I think the trust level in mainstream media is actually less than what Gallup reports. That's because the polling methods Gallup uses do not allow for accuracy. For instance Gallup says: "... Four in 10 Americans say they have 'a great deal' or 'a fair amount' of trust and confidence in the mass media to report the news fully, accurately and fairly." This Gallup choice consolidates a range of trust levels and homogenizes the spectrum into a single answer. This spectrum of trust levels could be more accurately accounted for if the one answer were divided into multiple choices.

Aside from the problems inherent with this polling methodology there are major conditioning factors that apparently are not considered by Gallup. The conditioning in this instance essentially comes from the mainstream media itself. Two (of many) examples are mainstream news media and their supporting advertising industry. The core problem with these two is we don't have truth as the golden standard in either of these elements.

"With the emergence of ever-larger multinational corporations — due to consolidation facilitated by the Federal Reserve’s endless FIAT money — the corporatocracy has been in a position to literally purchase the U.S. Congress.

As a result, many of the nation’s 'laws' have been re-configured to benefit WE THE CORPORATIONS, rather than WE THE PEOPLE. 'Laws' like NAFTA and GATT resulted in the outsourcing of the U.S. manufacturing base and the destruction of the Middle Class. This is nothing less than the 1 Percenters abusing the 99 Percenters. Known as 'monopoly capitalism,' 'crony capitalism,' 'mercantilism,' 'globalization,' 'the new world order,' and/or 'free trade' — this is NOT your Grandfather’s capitalism."[2]

December 23. 2018 - From Karen Curry - Quantum Astrologer & Human Design Teacher Extraordinaire!

2018 taught us to question what we perceived as “truth”. Our old ways of getting information such as the media were questionable, leaving us questioning what we can trust.

2019 promises to bring us more of the same potential confusion about information. Knowing how to trust yourself and your intuition is a vital skill you’ll need to hone if you’re going to know what’s true and right (or not).

In Video 3 you’re going to discover why your intuition is so vital, how you are hardwired to connect with your own intuition (hint: Not everyone’s “gut” feelings are the same!) and what you can do right now to start deepening your connection to your intuition.

...

Stay tuned for the 4th and final video. You’ll be learning about your unique energy blueprint and how to make sure that the goals you are setting for 2019 are in alignment with who you are and what you genuinely want.

From my Heart to Yours,

Karen
