Reowning our dark places makes us more whole. We magnitize, rather than put off others as we feel more whole.

Just got off the phone with Dr. Judith Reno
who is one my oldest friends in this life.
She is coming out with a new book in about six weeks
called "Elephants in my Tent."

The book is being proclaimed a masterpiece of
personal growth/spirituality.

From time to time we spend an hour on the phone
doing counseling. She was telling me about the intensity
of these times and this unprecedented year that
had the Tsunami, and five evacuations from Florida
including one scheduled for Saturday.

She reminded me that October 3 was the New Moon
and that this past Monday was the full Moon,
as well as an eclipse of the sun. This is an energy
that will last about six months, she said.

She was telling me it was also a Mars retrograde
that is an intense time for many sensitivies.
There is a lot of unleased anger either directed outward
or inward.

I was telling her about the intense panicy feelings that
were coming up inside me of late and how I could relate them
to childhood abandonment. She was excited to here this
and encouraged me to go deeper.

She reminded me that this panicy areas contain core primal
life force that has been disowned. The more we work
on reowning the disconnected and broken off pieces of ourselves
the more that magnitizes others to us.

The more we own these unowned parts of our Wholeness,
the more attractive we
are to others. "Quaranteed Sex!" She said.
She know my number. I relate to growth
through connection, and connection for me
at the deepest of all levels, means generative
connection.

She knows i am a Scorpio, The second house and eighth houses
of astrology are involved. These deal with sex and relationship and also
birth and rebirth in relationship.

She helped me see that the way to work with panicy feelings.
i could trace these cut off energies to being five years old or so.
They had to do with my mother
valuing the PTA more than be and leaving me alone in the darkly lit
big house.

She said that we can antropomophize this dark areas in ourself and develop
tools, such as Ray guns, or nuclear weapons, or whatever suits your fancy
to inintegrate and take on this shadow areas of ourself.

I imagine my imagine self with come up with metaphors I can
used in lucid dreaming that are more earth connected.

She said that she rather than giving power to another person,
as if they can save us from the disowned places that feel so frightful,
we can construct a divine mother and/or father archetype--
an ally that we can take with us
into the dark when it comes up.

There is a lot more to say about this.
I will write more about reowning our dark places.
