How to: Matashakti by munificent .....

I located the chant EK ONG KAR Pieter Scoonheim's site. Here are his instructions on execution. And his site has the chant set to music! It makes a tremendous difference. Pieter's site is very interesting. He is creating a page addressing magnetism. Worth going back for a look.

Sit in easy pose with the legs crossed and the spine straight. Press the shoulders back slightly and bring the chin in slightly, suspending the breath in the chest, felt in the area of the heart chakra (between the bottom of the sternum and top of the ribs below the nape of the neck).

Place the hands on the knees and inhale deeply, filling the lower part of the lungs with a focused intention that pushes the lower part of the diaphragm out against the abdominal muscles. Simultaneously, put an inward and downward pressure with the hands against the knees. This will lift the rib cage, resulting in the downward flow of the inhalation to entirely fill the lungs, from the bottom to the middle to the top, using only the diaphragm.

When the (each) breath is complete, come into jalandara bhand (neck lock), pressing the shoulders back, bring the chin in slightly (which increases the resonance of the sound in the spine and cranium), keeping the head straight (not bent forwards or back), and suspend the breath all along the diaphragm and forwards in the chest (opening the chakras).

Then, chant "Ek (Ik) Ong Kar" in one long complete breath. With the sound of "Ik," pull the lips wide and pull the Mul Bhand (root lock), bringing the awareness from the Muladara (lowest chakra) to the Kandal (between the naval and 4th vertebra). Then relaxing the root lock, continue the sound of "Ong" giving way to "Kar" (like "car"), which sounds are chanted equally with the remaining of the breath and vibrated from the Kandal.

Pause for a moment, then…

Inhale deeply (see above), suspend the breath and chant "Sat Nam Siri" in one long complete breath. With the sound of "Sat" (as in "ahh" versus "cat"), pull the root lock and bring the awareness to the heart. Then relax the root lock and chant the sound Naam in one long breath with the "aaa" very long and "mmm" very short," vibrating the sound from the heart. When the breath is almost entirely expelled, chant the short sound of "siri," where with the "ri sound (may be a slightly higher pitch), again, the root lock and, this time, diaphragm lock (uddyana bhand) are pulled up - "siiii-ri." With the sound "Siri" bring the awareness to the Ajna chakra, the point slightly above and between the eyebrows.

Quickly, without a pause, take a quick half breath and chant "Wha!" pulling up the root lock and expelling most of the breath. With the sound of "Wha!" bring the awareness from the ajna chakra to the Sahasrara - crown chakra. Then releasing the root lock finish the chant with "he Guru" - "hey" is 3 times longer than "Gu" and "Ru" is 3 time or more longer than "Gu" as the balance of the breath is expelled. With the sound "he Guru" release the sound through the 10th Gate at the crown and into the magnetic field and Akasha (ether of space).

Pause for a moment to let the sound of silence merge the mind into the pure soundless sound of your True Pervasive Being.

Then inhale deeply again and continue.

Chant for 5 minutes or 11 minutes, 31 minutes 62 minutes, 2.5 hours. With continued practice, especially after some Kundalini Yoga exercises that charge up the nervous system and convert the body into an amplifier of sound, the mind will begin to attune itself to the surat shabad (Spirit Sound Current - Sound of the Celestial Spheres), as the centers of the brain begin to open and related glands secrete.

With the secretion of these glands, the infinite cosmic energy in the ether of space in which the universe appears will begin to flow into and fill the body with light, just as a jar floating on the ocean, when the lid is opened becomes one with the ocean.

And the body / mind will be transformed into That.
