Well I am knee deep in philosopher's and their Idea of God. Self Reliance is the first of the essay's we are dissecting.

Self Reliance as in: "The self to be so trusted, Emerson clarified, was not the egotistical self (gallop, gallop, synapses firing) or selfish self but the Universal or Divine self within each person, so that self reliance, the height and perfection of man, is reliance on God."

9th clarifying self reliance.

~ Trust thy instincts and intuition, you came with them, for a reason! The reason was simple-to express God on earth, to express God on earth-not at the cost of others, but to play with others. To create participate and blend with others.... To live as the One Consciousness that We are- Where all is known and loved..without exception..

So, we are advised to read Emerson for the glimmers-I like that word I see the Sun reflecting on the undulation of deep blue water, I smell the vast saltiness of the oceans, with the cacophony of the gulls, it is real to me-glimmer it sparkles in my imagination. I can see and smell my glimmer.....

Word fans, English language fans, check out the program 'Visual Thesaurus' for a visual word feast- Oh, the beauty of the 'free association' setting for the word glimmer,.... gleam- flash of light,flash- a burst of radiant energy (yes!),supervening, co-occurrence, recurrent event-sunset, sunrise, tide (yes!), modification-an event that occurs when something passes from one state or phase into another-...Meanwhile the words are visually moving -spatially moving in accordance with their relevance to each other. It tickles me.

I love the language-the spoken Word-and to a lesser extent the written-the spoken word of 'story', of myth and the human experience. Here is the place my mind and heart come together...In the story..In the Human Story-with it's rich vagrancies.

Oh, so I have discovered my meeting point-Gee, and I only pondered this question yesterday- WOW, all is moving quickly...flowing

-flow- the act of streaming or flowing, to be abundantly present- as in consciousness- although all 'example' meanings are disconnected with this more truthful meaning, I intuitively understand when meanings have been obscured~ flow- "a natural action-a process existing or produced by nature (rather than by the intent by human beings)". Of course, we naturally contain the intent of nature, it is our birthright, and then, flow- "the monthly discharge of blood from the uterus of unimpregnated women"- as if impregnation was a more natural state of woman than not? (I'm positive men write these descriptions) But this at least bears us fruit-women whose bodies flow- our primal connection.

Here's the news from Emerson, The Universe Flows through blood, through nature and through Man...this is God working in and through You to express Divinity.

Divine-also means to search-"to locate or discover or to try to establish the existence of" ...adjective: "Resulting from Divine Providence"...verbs: "to become aware by the senses", "to perceive intuitively or through some inexplicable perceptive powers"

Now we are getting closer...to the Truth of us as One. And for me, I am getting closer to divining my purpose!
