We need to honor the bravery and courage of those who served under the Confederate Battle Flag... Over the years, it has stood as a flag of pride, determination, and courgage...

The Confederate battle flag, which is square, normal 45 x 45 or 54 x 54 inches... It is made up of the cross of St Andrew {The X shape} and the Cross St George {The + shape}...   It has Thirteen Stars, to represent the States, on the  Royal Blue Cross of St Andrew, set on  Crimison....

The more common 3 x 5 FT Flag seen is actually the Confederate Naval Ensign... It was the last to Surrender, with the CSS Shenandoah, in 1866 in England.....  It was taken around the world by the Confederate Navy, and flew on all the major seas of the world...    It was even involved in a foreign engagement w. Morocco....

The Confederate Battle flag was carried by brave men, and women, both black, white, and red against great odds...  There was much sentiment in its colors...  We give honor to the Confederate Service Personal who served under it, for four long years....

This flag has always been associated with pride, and foritude... During the Olympics in Barcelona Spain in 1992, the flags that sold the most were First the US Flag, Second the British {Queens Flag} commonly called as the Union Jack, and third was the Confederate Flag....

During the Viet Nam conflict, it flew or was painted on many outpost and military units...  We had on painted on top of our after 5 inch Gun Mount...  We were called the Rebel Can, {Destroyer} and if you know your history the two Stations off Viet Nam coast were called Yankee Station off North Viet Nam, and Dixie Station off South Viet Nam...  {Check that and you will see the truth}

It is a shame as author Shelby Foote, said " That we allowed, some people use it {Confederate Battle Flag} as a raciest symbol during the fifties and sixties...."   The Flag is one of honor and courage...  It should always be viewed as a great part of  our history...

Thank you for your considerations in this matter....
