It wasn't too long ago, back before we began this life, when we were on vacation somewhere in the galaxy, taking it easy--and then we got The Call. We're here, now, doing our work.

I have a feeling we’re “on call” here during this lifetime, kind of like a doctor being “on call” when he is supposedly off-duty back at home—until that emergency surgery is required and she has to go rushing back to the hospital.

It is as though we’ve come into this lifetime as a result of being “on call.” We were needed here on the planet during this time. We’ve had other existences, other lives, but during these particular days, months, and years, we were needed here on Earth. We were off on vacation somewhere in the Galaxy—on call—and, now, here we are, back to work. So much for the vacation!

You have been given many assignments during many lifetimes! Each one is attuned to the body you bring with you. Living on Earth requires a mission. You claim your mission in the same way you claim your family. It takes a decision before birth, and is a decision you oftentimes forget. “It takes a lifetime to remember” is oftentimes a common occurrence. Listen, though: it doesn’t always have to be like this.

Understanding the requirements of the soul is the first step towards attuning yourself with your purpose, your mission. You begin by placing emphasis on the deeper aspects of your own nature. How do you do this? Listen to all of the signs given you: your dreams, visions, daydreams; the way you relate to your world; the opportunities that “pop up” for you. Becoming aware is the first step, though—along with intent, desire and a love to know! Passion is an ingredient that lights up universes, and it can be used to supercharge your world. Experience this and you will begin to unlock the deeper secrets behind your own mission on Earth.

Ask yourself: is my purpose being lived right now? Am I alive in a way that brings truth and harmony to my being? Am I avoiding my life’s work out of fear of moving out of the space I am in now—emotionally, physically, psychologically, and spiritually—due to the changes sure to result? If so, something is calling you already for change.

Examples of this kind of movement include sensing great loss of energy at various times of your life, whether it is through a job, a relationship, or a situation in life. This is a denial of your deeper nature and purpose, and, indeed it will prevent your energy to be at its fullest.

How can you begin to claim this power behind your life—the knowledge of your life and soul’s purpose? Ask. Ask every night before you go to bed to be shown dreams that give you this wisdom. Ask your angels or spirit guides to give you little “pops” of memory and intuition that help point you towards this knowledge.

The point is: your entire being must know this mission and purpose of your life; the entire being must remember, otherwise it becomes like another routing job your boss has give you at work. Awakening your cells, bones, flesh, muscles, lungs, feet, arms, hands, eyes, ears—and spiritual and mental muscles—to this truth will completely engage your being in your life’s purpose. Nothing short of this will truly connect you with your destiny.

Remember—the point is at this moment to simply recognize the desire and intent that you have within you. Then, the fire of passion will overcome you as you begin to truly search within for this wisdom and knowledge. Understanding isn’t as far away as you might think.

Be happy and glad that these doors are here for you! Imagine awakening in the morning with no opportunity for discovering your purpose in life. This would be a tragedy.

You may have this wisdom already awakened within you—perhaps you never lost this “knowing” from birth. Your life, then, is truly a gift, for so many people lose this birthright and go a lifetime without claiming their soul’s purpose.

No one should be denied this wisdom, this knowing. The human race was brought to Earth to accomplish a mission, individually and collectively. This has been the purpose of the Earth since her birth. You help her by remembering your purpose and mission in life. You awaken memories in her as you come closer to your own truth. She needs your remembering and awakening as much as you do! Be joyful to your process of discovering and renewal, for it is a blessing for all of humanity.

Praise your Mother Earth as you proceed. Ask for her participation as you grow, awaken, understand. You will feel her nurturing presence. So many individuals think they must go through life without help of this nature, and they are missing so much. Attune yourself to the planet and nature as you move forward, and the bounties and riches of your life will grow.
