Does the soul expand?

Can we build on the soul?
Does the Soul build itself?
Is the Soul a basic component that can grow?
If so, how does it grow? Does it grow in size and stature? In quantity? Quality?
In abilities? If in fact it can grow, does that imply some defect in a plan from its Divine inception?
Would that also imply that some people would possess more Soul than others?
( On that point, some would agree!!)
To use sreet talk..."I've got Soul!"
Would that mean that the soul at birth is just a seed that could grow if given the right nurishment? Then what nurishment would it need? What water feeds its roots?
What foods would enhanse its growth? What would give it strength? What of the abilities of the Soul? What is its characteristics? What is its potential? Does the sould change, shapeshift, evolve, grow....become more, or better as it is nurished?
