Feels good to be on day 6. I went to the gym this morning and had an easy 30 min ride on the bike. Felt really sad watching the coverage on the anniversary of 9-11. So very sad. Really made me want this week to go by so I can be with my Fiance this weekend. This time he has been away for work has really made me appreciate him that much more.

So, yesterday after going for a run, my skin on my face started to mildly burn. I am not sure why but my initial thought was that the cayenne pepper was coming out in my sweat. Is that even possible? My skin got red in blotchy spots on my face and stung a little. I do put way more cayenne than is recommended because I like hot and spicy stuff. The redness went away by the time I woke up but reappeared after I went to the gym this morning. And this morning it is dry in those spots where it was irritated. I haven't done anything different... creams, face wash... nothing. Except obviously the drastic change of doing the master cleanser. Also Oxy-powder. So, I am putting very little cayenne in my juice today and not taking the oxy-powder pills tonight. I suppose it is possible that I may be allergic. I hope it goes away. I would hate to call off the fast because of an allergic reaction.

Other than my face burning off, things are going really well. I am fitting into my clothes much better today. I feel like I got an extra bounce in my step and the fog that has been in my way for the past few months has lifted. My tense shoulders have relaxed, I have regained my love for waking up and exercising every morning, and I just feel like I am much more open to positive energy and good things happening. And the house is sparkling!! I get a gold star for a very successful house-work day yesterday! I guess I am just trying to make everything nice for when my Fiance returns.

I have also been thinking about a nice dinner to make for him. He is allergic to wheat and gluten. But he LOVES pizza. So, I am going to make a wheat free crust. Put some chicken sausage, mushrooms, feta cheese and spinach. He will love it. And I can eat my veggie soup! By then I will be off my fast. Yay!

Allright, I suppose I should get back to work!
