Friday Master Cleanse by tambee .....

Had a small Dinner last night, YES... food, but am back on the cleanse for today

Hello, Hello........ It's Friday and I am feeling so much better today than I did on Monday. I am so happy I decided to fast this week. My skin looks glowing, I feel mentally much clearer, I feel like I have a reawakened grasp on staying on track with my food choices, and I am about 5 pounds lighter. Sure, might be water weight... but it does give me a smile to see the numbers come down. And they will continue to drop... with or without muscle gain.

I made it through all day yesterday sticking strictly to the cleanse and decided to break it for a small dinner (a small salad, an egg and a bowl of bean soup) I just didn't feel right energy wise and felt like I could fall asleep on my drive home. Not good. My theory is that from burning so much from my morning runs.... I need more than just the lemonade. Next time I do a fast, I am going to look into some sort of supplement to prevent my faintish feelings towards the end of the day. The other option would be to quit running and working out during fasts. That will not work for me. That is the one thing I really really look forward to while fasting.

So, back on it today.... for my last day before returning to eating HEALTHY and small portions. I actually was excited to do the MC again for one more day. I woke up feeling great and like I had more energy to burn. I ran 2 miles up to the gym and did an arm workout for 30 minutes and caught a ride home with my Fiance. He has been so supportive of me fasting and also was proud of me for stopping last night and listening to my body.

In efforts to make sure I am sticking to my plan of daily exercise and gradually loosing weight in time for my Wedding, I am going to check in every Monday to make notes of my progress and struggles. I would like to mix in doing mini fasts when needed to give me a reality check on my eating habits.

Some of my focal points:
- Eating moderate portions
- Staying away from "white foods": sugar, flour, white rice, mayo, dairy
- Exercising daily: Running, muscle strengthening and toning
- Keeping drinking down to a minimum.... especially on the weekends!! ( I wish I didn't like wine!!)
- Drinking Green tea instead of coffee. Coffee makes my skin on my face dry and patchy....so sad.
- Dropping weight: about 20 pounds
- Being happy and feeling aware, loving and feeling alive
