woohoo day 4 by chels30day .....

no detox symptoms again!

Date:   4/4/2007 4:29:59 PM ( 17 y ago)

well day 4 is here, and almost over. I am having my dinner- 2 apples, 1/4 grapefruit and a handleful of grapes. For lunch I had a tomato, some spinach and some garlic. It wasn't as appetizing as I thought it would be- I have learnt that I really dislike grapefruit, and don't particulary like juicing spinach, although I do enjoy spinach in salads.
For breakfast I had 1/2 grapefruit with 2 oranges. I have discovered that I truly LOVE orange juice. Even when I'm not juice fasting, I will definately make it for breakfast. I also really like the taste of green apples juiced.
Today my roomate sat across from me and ate a big bowl of watermelon- I SO badly wanted to eat some, but I didnt!
I am still having the urge to sit here and binge- eat anything and everything. It is just because it is something my body is used to, and mentally I am used to the guilt and stress that comes along with it. But that is not happening! No food will touch my mouth!
Juice fasting is definately easier on the body than water fasting- this morning I had feelings that I used to have while water fasting, as I hadn't had breakfast before I went grocery shopping. I don't think I could water fast again- it is just too hard to completely cut food out of my life.
Tonight my best friend invited me to go to her boyfriend's for a roast beef dinner, something that I can't do not only because I am juice fasting, but because after I stop fasting I will become a raw foodist, and I was also a wanna be vegetarian before the fast began. Normally if I wasn't fasting I could have gone over and just eaten the vegetables, but oh well! Not tonight, I have lots of work to do anyways.

So no detox symptoms today- wish it was later in the days than just 4, but oh well. Only time can solve that problem!
