ANN LOUISE GITTLEMAN, Ph.D, C.N.S., author of the New York Times and USA Today bestseller The Fat FlushTM Plan (McGraw-Hill, December 2001), is an award winning author of 20 books on contemporary health issues and a weight loss expert with over two decades of experience in public health and in private practice. Gittleman holds a Ph.D. in holistic nutrition, is a Certified Nutrition Specialist, has a master's degree in nutrition education, and a naturopathic degree in drugless healing. She has counseled men and women from all walks of life as well as radio and TV personalities, professional dance troupes, movie stars, producers, fashion designers and athletic figures.
