How did it work for you?
I personally cant tolerate any bread but recently read on a list of foods which were beneficial to the O type that essene or sprouted grain was ok to eat.
Ive seen it in the health shop here in the UK but never actually bought any as i dont want to waste a pound fifty on a tiny loaf of bread that makes me feel icky!
Essene bread is a beneficial food for O type, i personally find the sprouted wheat variety very tasty. I realise that it is quite pricy and here in Australia it is more than double the price of ordinary bread.
I personally think it is worth it as i slice it very thin and enjoy it with butter and tomatoe (toasted).can also be enjoyed with allowable fruit spreads for a sweet treat.
It has been my experience that the other varieties of sprouted essene bread is not quite to my liking, and i have not seen any where that the other varieties are recomended for O type.
Hope this is of benefit to you and i suggest you give it a try and if you like it you have a lot to gain, if not small price to pay to gain knowledge.
Kind Regards Carole
Hi, glad i found this site more stumbled across it :) Im in Sydney Australia and can not find this essene bread, can some one from Australia please give me a list of companies who sell the ready made loaf and where to buy? many thanks.
Hi,
Essene bread tastes horrible however there is some lovely sprouted grain bread on the market under the name Sprouted Grain Bakery which is actually made in South Australia by Lifestyle Bakery. Here is their website http://www.sproutedgrainbakery.com.au
They have such a wide selection and I can tell you from personal experience that its delicious!!!! Its also really well distributed so you should be able to get it in your pary of Australia.
Ezekiel Bread and Essene Bread are "sprouted" wheat and other grain products. The sprouting changes the grains so that you can tolerate the gluten in the wheat.
