i was wondering if you guys have any filling that caused exfoliative cheilitis? I got EC when i was 14 i was at the dentist doing a root canal and my mouth got dry and i think i just kept licking it and i guess thats how i got EC. My EC was really bad when i first had it, the skin became like crusty greenish and it was like liquidy but over the year it seemed to got better a little bit. i started taking some vit E soft gel pill and i also pop the soft gel and rub it on my lips and it seemed to help a little bit. That's great advice for living a healthier life, but it will not help you cure EC.
There's one point that's good though:
"-Get an organic hand creme and mix it with drops of vitamin A, apply this to your lips when they become dry or when they are peeling."
I've heard of someone pulling out their filling and it stopped the peeling. But there are also many people who did the same thing without success. The biggest problem with this condition is that what works for someone might not work for someone else.
also im wondering does any of you guys have like little red dots on your tongue? When i got EC i started getting red dots on my tongue and i still have it ever since.
