WEll, first, I think you should talk with your physician and family about your Klonopin. I'm not sure what the effects/affects are of stopping, but it may be an important part of why you are experiencing what you are experiencing. I saw this because I have a number of neural issues - AND - I also have parasites. But there are meds that if I were to stop, I think, the symptoms would multiply. So, I urge you to consider to find a way to get your meds.
Second, and, I'm not a physician, this is my own experience and observations... I have weeping sores where I think my creatures live. I have several times noticed little sores like these somewhere near the corner of my eye. The first time was almost a month ago to the date. At that time, I put neosporin on the sore - I was concerned about something open so close to my eye - and almost immediatly I felt movement in my cheek just below my eye and headed toward my eye. As I watched in the mirror, I was horrified to see a wormlike thing leave the corner of my eye and come down my face. I screamed and made my husband take me to the ER. They were useless other than to say nothing was in my actual eyeball and that parasites do in fact live in the eyelids. They gave me antibiotic ointment for my eyes to protect them "just in case...".... and more anxiety meds....
When I put the ointment in...holy cow, although my vision was blurry, I knew exactly what was happening... They were moving around under my eyelids and getting out of there!! I went back to the ER - they said to stop using the ointment. No kidding.
Anyway much has happened in the interim but these particular symptoms returned about 5 days ago when I woke up and saw a clearish looking worm hanging out on the colored part of my eyeball. I tried to get it out without squishing it...no luck. So, all week I've been gameplanning, and feeling more symptoms. I got latex gloves, glass jars - I find they eat through plastic and seem to melt from one skin surface to another (blood borne?) - and today, when I felt brave enough, I put neosporin very thinly on my upper cheek below my eye - let's say if you divided the right side of my face into 4 quadrants, then the upper, inner quadrant closest to my eye and nose. And, as if on cue, I could see my eye change - like it was getting tears that were moving from the corner and spreading out. So, I took a latex glove and quickly and gently swiped my lower lid and pulled out something that looked - spread out - about 2 inches long!! I took a second one out later. And since then a few more. The first one is still the best example. I have one in saline solution - though I realize now that may be a mistake as salt they don't really like. I was thinking it would preserve them. They others are in a product that I have found helpful through this - it's an astringent called Seabreeze. It's probably alcohol based, though I don't know for sure. I'd have to check. What they look like are pretty clear round worms.
Another thing that has personally helped me is Sea Buckthorn soap and a supplement called Omega 7 with Sea Buckthorn. It's used for Human Demodex (Human Mange.) Many times over the last several months I've felt - but not really been able to see - something crawling over my eyelids, eyelashes, face, scalp. I found it very helpful and got it at my local healthfood store.
I hope this info helps!! PS... You have thumbs...you're smarter!
