I did the protocol for a couple of weeks and ended up staying at 6 X 2.
I actually found that my white tongue coating got significantly thicker, much
thicker. I've backed off on the MMS due to a cold, and my tongue coating
is backing down a bit too.
it got pretty thick too and then i took Oxypowder and it started to get thinner but i think its getter thicker again.
well i finally noticed a reaction to the mms. after 2 days on 10 drops twice a day, i got pretty bad nausea. no diarrhea though. i plan on using oxypowder again to flush the stuff out. i'll see how it goes... anybody else notice stuff about their tongue?
hey ieatworld,
well so far, my tongue IS doing better, but this is beacuse of the herbal regimen im on from that herbalist in the city, not cause of the MMS. i woke up this morning with a new, but still horrible taste in my mouth, yet when i checked in the mirror my coating had gone down significantly. i scraped this morning and its hardly come back at all! Usually when i scrape the coating comes back instantly.
my friend called up the herbalist last night for kind of a check in, and he told me to eat tofu and eat a papaya or two every week.
I cant stand tofu, but i mixed it up with some bananas and strawberries and made a shake out of it. He said this would help with my tongue, and so far, it has.
All my other symptoms are still here, but I do feel better overall. My circulation is terrible, and being 6 degrees outside doesnt help either. take care
The whole white coating on the tongue is such a tricky symptom though.
Sometimes when I'm on a new treatment which supposedly has some way to help out my tongue, i tend to "see" the problem getting better, even though it might not be.
Since I'm not exactly sure what triggers this problem in my tongue, its very difficult to know whether or not something is actually working, or maybe you just WANT it to work, so you see less of hte coating.
I just went and checked though - the coating on my tongue is definitely thinner and less dense. Let's hope this keeps up. Try the tofu ieatworld, I think this guy was onto something.
P.S. You have to get RAW tofu, not fried - just plain tofu. This guy also told me to stay away from fried foods, you might want to do the same since we have similar GI symtpoms
Thanks! Raw tofu ... Oh god that sounds horrible. I can barely stuff tofu down with all the sauces and frying. Best of luck to your recovery! Yeah the tongue thing is very tricky. I've seen it gone down in the past, then come back up. My symptoms haven't improved on mms yet but I haven't been using it very long. I will try out the tofu and papaya soon.
haha yeah,
the tofu tastes like crap, but when I meant raw tofu, I meant tofu that is NOT fried or altered in any other way. You can mix it with other things (as long as theyre not fried)
What I did was get a banana, 5 strawberries, some milk and half a container of the tofu and blended it all together for a smoothie-type deal. It was good, and I could hardly taste the tofu..good luck!
There is a belief by some TCM practitioners that the white tongue coating (and indeed, whenever people talk about 'candida' or candida symptoms) is the result of food not being digested enough, in other words instead of fungal or yeast-caused, it reflects the state of the intestines and basically sluggish digestion. In that case, remedy the GI issues and it should resolve the white tongue (although an ever so slight coating on the tongue shouldn't be a concern).
There is (IMO) definitely a correlation at least in my experience. Looking back, when my symptoms were worst, the tongue coating was the thickest. Now it's reduced considerably but is still present.. many people deal with this so good luck qbfox.
Awesome,
thanks for that reassurance, I had been going back and forth from that diagnosis and candida for a while, and now I'm leaning more towards sluggish digestion.
I did speak too soon though - the white coating on my tongue is back as usual. Oh well, still waiting for these pills to kick in.
I've just been waiting so long for a solution to this that any minor headway (even if imagined) gets me so psyched, so once again im disappointed. oh well.
I have set a goal though - I would like to get rid of this problem by the time I start graduate school in the fall (August 08). Hopefully I can reach this. How are you and your symptoms doing, tyler?
In that case, eating more slowly, chewing more, and taking digestive enzymes for a while would be very beneficial. It would not take long to discover if digestion is the cause. Digestion requires a little acid. Hopefully we are not too alkaline.
We should eat more slowly anyway. The nerves from the stomach to the brain are already slower than other organs. It takes time for the brain to learn that we are full or have had enough to eat.
yes, very true - we easily forget how much of a process eating is
I have always been a rushed eater, I don't know why. Now I get complaints cause I don't eat fast enough. JFH, how are you doing with MMS? any new updates?
I'm the same way about rushing through a meal. However, I'm the last one finished when I'm out with friends. I talk too much. I love to socialize when I can. Otherwise, I'm quite the recluse.
No updates on MMS. As I've said, I realize this is going to take some time. I've gone to 3 doses per day. I'm at 10x3.
I've come to realize that my nose really is stuck in my b*tt. I'm very occasionally constipated since I've been taking MMS. I became too confident in my progress that I've abused my diet. I was very congested yesterday and thinking that I was catching a cold. With this weather, no wonder. However, I did not have a bowel movement yesterday either. So I took and herbal lax last night, realizing that my sinuses are always worse with poor BMs. This morning, after a bowel movement with unusually hard feces, I no longer have congestion. Then I remembered that I had spaghetti. I might as well have eaten concrete.
i've always wondered what makes the BM so hard after a day of not going. it happened to me when i was using kefir. it gave me great bms for about a month but then stopped working. i remember one time while I was on it, i didn't have a bm for a day and then the next day when i took more kefir and got a bm out, it was rock hard. wth? it turned into concrete so fast. too bad kefir stopped working well for me.
also, i really want to go to an herbalist for herbs for my menstrual problems, but i'm scared the two protocols will interfere with one another since i'm sure if the herbalist sees my tongue he should be able to see my other problems. would the two protocols interfere with one another?
I honestly do not think the 2 protocols would interfere. The CLO2 should not care about the herbs and treat them like it does food (not at all). So, it would be best to take the herbs at least an hour away; just as you would with other food or perscription drugs. Also, it sounds like your problem is hormonal; so the MMS will not interfere with that; and unfortunately MMS won't help it either.

but aren't carbs like rice and white bread* (i wrote rice by accident at first) easy to digest? i know sugar feeds candida, but isn't a big piece of chicken harder to digest to say a bowl of rice?
Don't know about rice but breads are apparently a culprit for a lot of people since they have gluten intolerance. There are brands of bread easier on the digestion namely Ezekiel 4:9 bread (also called God's Recipe bread). When it comes to food sensitivies the best strategy is avoidance until the digestion hopefully has been improved enough that it can deal with the occasional greasy food, dairy products, desserts as long as you don't go overboard.. but minimizing or avoiding these is good no matter what your state of health
My progress continues but has slowed for now; strange b/c there are ways in which i'm doing better (sinus, cleaner mouth/teeth as confirmed by my dentist who was quite impressed with the better condition of the teeth and gums, to name a couple) and some in which the progress has 'hit a wall' or even backslid a little e.g. digestion, sensitive teeth like some others have experienced.. MMS is doing me good but it seems I'm going through a phase right now that could be associated with retracing somewhat, that many seem to experience- the pattern of feeling great within the first 3 days, then backsliding for a few, all the while upping the dose then doing great again for 2 weeks or so, then backsliding again- eventually the high dose is tolerated just fine and most of the person's issues are resolved. Just a pattern that seems commonplace. So in short i'm doing very well in some areas and a little worse in others. All part of the journey I guess.
That's a very good description Tyler; and a good word, retracing. We've already discussed cycling; but it is good to remember; so we don't become depressed.
yeah, the herbal supplements would interfere with MMS or vice versa.
when i went to the herbalist he said (in the nicest way possible) listen to his protocol and dont do anything else, or i would be wasting his and my time.
so i immediately quit everything and just did the herbs
it has been such a timewarp for me - im complaining that these herbs havent worked yet, and ive only been on them for 10 days! god im so impatient, im hanging in there though. by the time im done with this second bottle (nine days), he said i should see some improvement in my circulation...im looking forward to it..hope everyone is doing well
