is there any blood type that we, ab+, should look for? my hubby is blood type O+ and from what ive learned , that type is a universal giver and AB + is a universal receiver. so i was wondering if its a good match?
I just had a mini course on the Blood Type Diet and now have a challenge.
My husband is O+ and I am AB+. There are very few foods that are beneficial to both of us and many that are beneficial to one and an avoid for the other. How do I follow this diet without having to prepare 2 different entrees each evening (or go out for dinner each night)? For example, beef and chicken are beneficial for O and an avoid for AB.

B and AB are the most difficult to match meals plans with the other types, I think. What many do (and most mixed families are A and O) is work with both beneficial and neutrals (there are a number of AB and O) and trade off each meal who gets the beneficials.
Since my husband has many more health issues than I do, I tend to favour his requirements at this time. Last night we went out for dinner (his choice) Montana's for beef ribs. There were basically 2 items on the menu that were suitable for me (salad or fish) so I chose the fish and substituted the fries for steamed vegetables.
It will be a challenge to follow the blood type diet and will require some coordination and planning on my part.
