For those of you using lime juice as an activator I am curious as to what source you use for this.....Actual lime juice squeezed from fresh limes, or some concentrate such as ReaLime, or something else.
I seem somewhat gassier lately (I know, TMI) and am questioning the impact of citric acid as a potential yeast-growth stimulator (yeast overgrowth is NOT one of my issues, however). I know Jim Humble feels citric acid is the most effective activator. Dr. John Humiston digresses and feels lime juice is better. So---here's the big MMS Forum "Coke vs. Pepsi" poll. ;)
Any experienced thoughts here would be appreciated. I've also been using pure concord grape juice as a diluent, which really does cut the taste for me....though it is the only place in my life where I consume any fruit juice at all. I don't use more than 2 or 3 oz at a time, but I normally completely avoid most forms of sugar, even in juice. It has a negligible vitamin C content (something like 8% of the RDA for C) so maybe it isn't adversely impacting the MMS much, but I'm contemplating starting over my dosing protocol using only water and lime juice to see if there is a more pronounced effect, or not. I've heard some differing opinions on this here and there on this forum and am wanting to weigh this out a bit.

BTW--thanks for everyone's helpful input on my earlier post today. It was, in fact, a constipation issue and she is feeling much better now. :)
I've been satisfied with ReaLime for 6 months. I tried RealLemon in the begining; then I realized that I won't like any food, shampoo, or anything else if it had the fragrance of lemon. I also tried ACV for a few days - too weak.
I use water. Tap water filtered through charcoal and then through a fluoride filter. I was using distilled water; then I kept forgetting to put it on my grcery list.
I use a lemon/ lime hybrid and squeeze one or 2 of them with a citrus juicer. Then I put it into a dropper bottle. Others say the plastic limes or lemons in the super market work just fine. Actually I'm thinking of trying the plastic ones as they probably have a longer shelf life.
I also use the real lime out of the green lime plastic bottle....works fine. I was using ACV until just about everyone on here said only use it as a last resort. Funny thing though, for some reason I thought the ACV may have been slightly stronger....I used less and got just about the same strength (I'm just guessing on strength by going by how strong the smell of chlorine is from the mixture after 5 minutes - I know, it's completely non-scientific but seems to work).
I am mixing it right now with filtered Brita water from the fridge...although that will soon come to an end b/c the taste is starting to get to me....as soon as I find some juice with no added vitamin C (I'm been to the market twice and although I didn't look TOO hard for it, I couldn't find any juice without friggin' vitamin C added to it....every juice I grabbed used it as a preservative.....I'll go to the healthfood section next time....I'm sure I'll find some there.) As for the 8% of natural vitamin C, according to Humble that shouldn't be a problem at all...it's when they add the vitamin C as a preservative - that's when it will hurt the effect of the MMS.
So I take it you havn't had too many drastic effects from the MMS yet? I'm already up to 18 drops 3X a day. I started 6 days ago with Stabilized Oxygen. I used the equivolent of 6 drops my first day. Went fine....the second day I used the equivolent of 8 drops then the real stuff arrived and I continued with 8 drops. The next day I went up to 12 drops X 3...all 3 times went ok....felt slight nausea after the 2nd dose but was fine after 15 minutes. The next day I went up to 15 drops X 3....that's when I first noticed my improved health conditions. I've had a dry cough for about a week - started to improve - as did sinus infection and trouble sleeping. Yesterday 15 drops X3 - last night my cough was completely gone, sinus went from yellow discharge to barely any and clear discharge , and I slept like a baby. I've already done 2 18 drop doses and feel fine today. I will max out at 20 or 21 drops 3X a day then hold steady until I feel 100% - then I will drop off the regimen and go back to heavy supplementation.
You may ask why such the high dose?? Jim states in one of his videos on his website that the amount you take in a dose should be related to your weight. For example if you weigh 160 lbs and max out at 15 drops then if you weigh twice as much, you should take twice the dose. That means (since I think the average weight for people is about 160 lbs) that my maximum dose should be about 20 - 21 drops (I weigh 205 - 210 lbs)...make sense?
Another reason for such a heavy load so fast is that I think the MMS works b/c it "shocks" your immune system (as Jim Humble has stated in his book) into working overtime. I believe that if you have a gradual buildup to your max dose then you will lose that affect. I feel that your body will adapt to the MMS and start treating it like a poison therefore eliminating alot of it....by shocking your body, you prevent that from happening. That's why I also believe that after being on it for a few weeks (or until your better) it is best to lay off it for a week or two, re-suppliment your body, then go on a mild maintenance dose, or another heavy cycle if you feel the need, then off again. JMO....what do you think?
Hi Kaz99, I really like your explaination of the reason to move forward quickly. I am not haveing success getting above 11 drops comfortably. Did you have any problems along your way to 20 drops. I keep having D after a few doses of 12 to 13 drops. I just thought I had a lot of pathogens to detox. What are you treating for and have you had a long time illness? I have had MS for over 30 years so things may be more congested. I also have had a lot of inflamation. Thanks MW
Today I took 20 drops X 3....defenitely noticed it today. I took my first dose around 11 am, 2nd dose around 1:30 pm....then 3rd at 4:30 pm - that's the closest and most MMS I've ever taken....I did notice a difference. After my 3rd dose I felt some heartburn....and slight chest pain, yes, slight chest pain. Slight nausea that lasted for about 30 minutes....no D since I took the doses...had some this morning before I started the doses. I think I took too much, too close together....last time I do that....I'll still take 20 drops but I'll be sure to spread them out better.
I'm treating it b/c lately I've had symptoms of chronic fatigue, insomnia, dry cough, sinus infection...plus as a preventative measure - in case I do have something else. Seems to be working great so far....alot more energy, no more insomnia, no more dry cough, very slight sinus infection....
