I have realized lately, that I am not comfortable in my own skin, many days. I have halted my reflexology business, due to whatever reason, yet it is. (A friend today said well the economy. I am not buying into that.)
I had a client last month and we were chatting. I told her I believe that I could 'fix' my vision. I am near as well as far sighted, now. When I first started wearing glasses, I was near sighted, back in the 2nd grade. It was suggested to me that there was something that occurred that I didn't want to see. Could be, doesn't matter.
I told my client through my connection to Source and Self, I intended to clear my vision back to 20/20 without the use of surgery. I asked her what she thought. She said she believed that is possible. She asked what was my main concern. I said that others thought I was blasphemous, as well as attempted to 'talk sense' into me.
I was talking about my vision at my class. I was talking about my reflexology business at my class. The teacher asked questions and gave suggestions...how on it may have occurred and how to release it. The other person in the class shared with me, his beliefs about having a business in today's economic challenges. (Again, I choose not to buy into that, although sometimes, it seems difficult not to). Also, I like the word challenges better than problems. Maybe it is just semantics, yet when I have had challenges in the past, they were much easier to overcome than problems. My mind began to 'worry' about how to 'fix' them.
I believe why my discomfort has been is I have kept resisting My Self. I know to accomplish my Clear and Perfect vision is to allow my Self and Source to communicate with me, daily. My intention is through that connection to SEE again, in Every area of my life. I intend to have 20/20 vision without surgery and my Internal vision be connected to and with.
Just felt compelled to type this, in this forum and share.

Im near sided myself and am thinking "wouldnt it be nice to have 20/20 vision":-) I used to be very shy as a kid in grammar school and at the time my sight got worse. It has been stable for a long time now, since I was a teenager. I wear contacts now, after having worn glasses until a couple years ago. I used to resist not wearing glasses and made excuses for not wearing contacts until suddenly I WANTED to get rid of my glasses! I know it happened at the time following a period of transformation where I became to care more and more about Me and what I want in my life. My self esteem had really increased a lot. This has only expanded more and more since finding Abraham. Now I feel I want to see everything and "release my contacts". It has not been my main focus yet, as I have focused more on my relationship and career and general wellbeing, but you bringing this up made me think about it more again.
I DO believe it is possible. Everything is possible if we allow it. Ask and it is given. I want 20/20 vision. Sounds easy, doesnt it? LOL
About the economy - it doesnt matter. It has no effect on you if you believe and allow abundance :-)

Well, I won't try to "talk sense into you", but I think the vision thing is completely possible, and I intend to prove it to my own satisfaction. :-) There's a book Yniag recommended awhile back--forget the name, (I ordered it) and another that's been around for years that outlines "the bates method", which many people have used. There's also chi gong that especially targets eyes, that you can learn to do in a day, as far as I know. People have done this thing before, even coming back from near blindness.
And as far as the "blaspheming" part, Jesus said -and he meant it- these things I do you shall do, and more. I haven't approached my own eye issue yet just because it isn't at the top of the list, but I used to do lots of very fine work, small sculpture, jewelry making, embroidery, very detailed drawing...and can no longer (for now!) do it without glasses.
I also think looking away from, and leaving the monitor every ten-15 minutes is very important--esp. that green field I talked about a week or two ago.

My interest is not using the Bates method or any other method like that. My 'method' is going to occur in connecting with Source and Self and releasing what no longer serves me, that I chose not to See, ALL the years Past, not just the beginning. There MAY be visualizing involved, if that is what I Feel, from my connection. Otherwise, it is all purely based on connection with Source and Self.
As for Jesus' saying "these things I do you shall do, and more." This is why I know I can do that, as well as know it is not blasphemous. Yet, others around me, in this moment, really do not understand what they 'quote' from the Bible.
OH and I am sure you are right about the computer theory, EXCEPT because I do not work on here, while at home, I am going to remove myself from the computer more often. This should help. The use of computer at work, has much break time away from it. My job is physical, then entering the information onto the computer. So, I am not using the computer more than 15 minutes, Usually in an hour.

Ah, so true. Jesus taught personal enlightenment. "Seek and
ye shall find" is instruction to let go of tradition and programming.
The parables of the kingdom of heaven, the hidden treasure, the pearl, the net
full of fishes, are all spiritual analogies to finding your true self and the
god within. He even told us where it was at: "...the kingdom of god
is within you." The Gospel of Thomas says "within you, among
you, around you." All of which says it was there at that time and not
some future event. The "others" that you mention have turned his
teachings upside down and inside out and all they can discover is doom and gloom
which is hell, not heaven.
Beth, I think that what you are envisioning (pun serendipitous ) is in perfect sync
with your Divinity. Every time -every day- I see more of what is possible, I feel blessed and in a state of praise. I am sure that the perfect measure of Grace descending like a gentle spring rain, and your intending and allowing will come togther and accomplish it! Imagine how good it'll feel to convince others by your example--bypassing all words.
that's the one. It may well be that he promotes a method of intention and allowing. I mean, they are two prime ingredients. More and more though, I think I'm with Beth
in the way she's starting to see things. :-)
In fact, I have noticed that my distance vision had improved recently. And some days my close vision is also quite good. I'm pretty sure this has more to do with seeing more! yes, I know, it sounds absurd. But it is!!! that and incorporating the essence of the wisdom of Ho'oponopono, which really goes back to (like everything) the truth that all *is* God.
*this is all within the realm of LOA, or rather LOA is within IT.
The book mostly talks about bad habits and proper habits as well the hidden relationship between habits and mental state, physical health and so on. Quite a big book to read. You'll enjoy the book. If you want, you can skip the technical aspects of the eye mechanism and get to the habits, it's this way more interesting.
