Day 10 and feeling great - have noticed I've started getting rid of a lot more rubbish from my colon the last 3 days - feels great but twice during this fast I've passed a movement that looked a little red & like blood. Am wondering if this is just old blood cells that are part of the stuck rubbish - feeling good, so don't think anything is wrong - just wanted some help here. Have been doing the p&b shakes this fast as well, they seem to be helping get rid of stuff - no discomfort, am up to 2 a day, might try and go to 3 today or tomorrow. Booked in for my first colonic in 2 days time, am looking forward to seeing what THAT does! Well - going for at least 21 days with this one, my biggest M/C yet - appreciate any feedback!
Anything that comes out red is going to be from somewhere near the exit cause if it goes through the digestive system it will no longer be red as the gastric juices will digest it so it is most likely hemorroids or some small lession near the anus that could possibly be caused by the high fiber content in the BPs.
The BPs have NEVER been part of the MC the link below form the FAQs will give you some insights.
Thanks - yr right, makes sense - I know the shakes are not part of the M/C - it's my 3rd one and I incorporated them a little on the first but not so much - Think I will stick with them, (it was just a tiny bit) but maybe drink more water and give them a miss for a day or two - They have seemed to help loosen up stuff -
Maybe you can give insight into another matter: both this time and last time (this never happened to me the first M/C) I've had it where often the swf doesn't come out right away - it may come out the next day or even 2 days later - It seems also to be a good thing, when it does come (and I think the shakes have helped with this) it brings a lot more with it - Figure it's just giving the stuck stuff a good soak and that this is helpful - must be cleansing deeper than it ever did before, as the first cleanse it all just came out like clockwork about an hour later. Insight into this? I appreciate the feedback - feeling like I'm getting pretty good at this now, but there is always stuff to learn. Day 10 is about over - feeling great!
Doing the BPs with the MC you are basically turning the MC into a colon cleanse. Because of the highly absorbptive nature of the BPs unless you are being really judicious and doing the BPs at least 1 hr before or after any lemonades and in addition your are drinking lots and lots of water you are robbing yourself of the nutrition and cleansing properties provided by the lemonade components. Just making this clear for other folks reading this.
A day or 2 days later certainly will not be the SWF you're passing. If you haven't eliminated the SWF within 2 to 3 hrs max you are absorbing the salt which very likely is caused by dehydration which is quite possibly caused by the BPs high capacity absorbtion rate of fluids. The BPs work best when eating regular and drinking lots of water. The 1 hr before/after rule with the BP also applies when eating regular.
My routine that works for me and has also help many other is 1st thing in the morning upon arising drink 16 oz of plain water to make sure you are hydrated. 1/2 later drink the SWF then 1 hr later drink 32oz of plain water. For most folks the SWF doesn't start evacuating for 45 min to an hour and then usually takes 2+/- hours from it's ingestion to get it all out.
Thanks Pepe - but I tell you - I can still feel the swf in my colon and then it all comes out way later - I don't absorb it, it just sometimes comes out the next day. I do follow the rule with an hour either side of any nutrition for the p&b shakes, read up on that before - the flushes do go differently every day, but thanks for the feedback and the tips - I may try to add more water before, as it is I've been drinking a big flush, maybe just a little extra - hard for me to get enough fluid down every day though, so some days I probably do get dehydrated - anyway, no ropes yet - nothing but soft stuff, it does seem the swf's that don't come out right away help get this out though - sometimes what I get is the next morning, the minute I start drinking the next swf the old one starts moving out - It never happened like this on my first one- but what's happening now.
Having daily eliminations is of prime important aspect of cleansing whether it's detox or colon cleansing. If you're not eliminating psyllium 2 to 3 times a days then you are definitely plugged up with the BPs. We've had folks on this forum getting plugged up bad enough with the BPs to land them in the emergency room. On an empty system with no solids the bentonite can become like a plaster (as per Andreas Moritz) and really plug things up bad. That why it's best to do the BPs while eating regular solids to push that stuff out.
If you're not eliminating a minimun of twice daily you need to stop the BPs before you do more harm than good with all the toxins backed up in the system being reabsorbed. At least significantly up your daily water intake and try my morning routine and if you don't eliminate the SWF within 3 hrs I say it's time to stop the BPs altogether for sure.
Thanks Pepe - I'll take it on board - Still eliminating, just the whole flush doesn't come out - I hear what yr saying about getting clogged up though - I kinda felt like that the first time I did the p&bs on the original fast - but haven't felt that way this time, things are definitely moving, but I don't doubt I have some blocks and constrictions in there - - - When I first did the p&bs on the other fast I actually felt a clog on the right hand side near the hip - it didn't shift for months, now it has - feels good, I'll go easy and give them a bit of a break - see how I go, if I feel clogged I'll stop. Other question is - since I'm going to do my first colonic - do I even need the p&b's or will that get all the same stuff out anyway?
