I need help with this and would welcome any suggestions that are realistic. Three years ago I started to have severe pain in my hip area and after getting them exrayed it was highly suggested from a surgeon that I get two hip replacements. My family doctor felt that because I have too many allergies to anti biotics that it was too risky for me to have the surgery and that it could even be life threatening. Often they need to give you anti biotics during and after the surgery and also because you are risking rejection when you have any infection you are pushed into taking these drugs way too often. My family doctor and myself reviewed my options and came up with trying prolotherapy for a treatment as it was much less invasive. After 5 extremely painful treatments I was scheduled for my sixth and the doctor changed the formula from fish oil to zink [ by the way not even telling me this] but I had an extreme reaction to it and almost convulsed in his office. I have been told by a naturiopath [ spelling ?] that I had this zinc poisening. He diagnosed me without knowing that it was zinc in the injections and just from what I told him about the episode after the treatment of burning skin all over my body, ect. Now it is two years after that 6th treatment and I still can not walk well and have been in extreme pain for all this time. The pain is mostly on my left side and it goes down my legs much like muscle spasms or trauma from an injury. I have been taking 10,000 mg of MSM with vitamin C for the last two weeks and that seems to help more than anything else I have tried. I have somehow by the grace of God, gotten through this so far without any pain medication. I walk with a cane and limp severely. I can not do house work or any physical activity. I am in this pain constantly. I have been through all of the flushes many times and it has improved my general health but has not affected this problem. Now my question is this.....How can I flush this zinc from my system ? I would say prior to taking the MSM I had only improved by about 5% in the two years. I have been handicapped by this and it has changed my life style from an active and busy person to one where I get out of bed and head for the chair for the day with limping to my desk with very limited mobility in general. I have tried to keep this as simple as not to take up the space or all your precious time. If you have any questions please ask away and I will try to answer as I can. The idea dawned on me like I said only recently to take the MSM but I do think this is going in the right direction to cleanse my system.

P.S. I would not reccomend Prolotherapy. Not only did I have problems with the above problems but he also injured my back.

I am actually not very much in to this, but I would have read all there is to know about chelation.
That is suposed to remove toxins from your body.
