. Lost 11 pounds during that time. You have to get prepared for the fast. Start detoxifying before the fast by eating raw foods (veggies, fruits, nuts etc...) for a few days before starting the fast. It will make it easier and you will recycle more nutrients.... For more severe problems you can fast up to a month according to Armstrong. Enemas and massages once a day is recommended. Save night's urine for that purpose and drink everything you pass during the day. For a real fast only pure water and urine but nothing wrong with drinking natural juices with urine drinking. Lots of sugar though in the fruit juices. Could be complemented with veggie juice.
