Thanks for your input Moreless,
As it turns out then, it may not be what I need to do?
I am trying to increase the fruit production, and was making 2 gallon jug of water with one half fish (about 2 lbs), 1 tsp calcium hydroxyde, 1/4 cup of Epsom Salt and 1/4 cup of molasses.
After one week, I was going to mix about 1/2 cup of this fish emulsion to a gallon of water and add to the soil.
What happened, we had a lot of rain and the tomatoes got a lot of green, which has been cut back, and are now trying to get some more fruit from the plants which are very healthy. (Upside down) Some weeds snuck in with the herbs that we planted - when taken out, appeared to have stolen a lot of nutrients (deeeep root systems)
Can you then advise on what is the best way to get more flowers and fruit? (same goes for the flower beds: lots of green.)
Thank you once again for your thoughts and advice!!!
PS: finally started some vegetable gardening at least!!!!:)
and BTW: the herbs may have grown a bit too fast but are delish!
