Hello :) I'm up to 15 drops today after taking 4 weeks to get there. Having been experiencing D and nausea for the last couple of days but manageable, today the nausea is pretty bad and experiencing fatigue alongside.
Also have had a pretty bad case of thrush, yeast infection, for over a week now and nothing seems to be able to clear it. Has anyone else had that experience with MMS, could it be making the Candida and yeast infection worse? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks guys!
Sorry, but I mildly disagree... If you are experiencing nausea, you should back down a few drops until you feel okay at that number of drops. There is no "race" to get to 15 drops. My father-in-law took several months before he could take 15 drops even once a day. The candida may be being flushed out by the MMS and that's why it is presenting itself at this time. Hopefully it will go away soon so you can continue your healing protocol. Good luck.
If the nausea is bad then I'd cut back a little until it goes
You could try and treat the candida externally. I've used coconut oil successfully externally for fungus but MMS can be used also if you prepare it right and use it as a spray
Thanks everyone for your quick replies :) How are you preparing the MMS as a spray, and does it need to be rinsed off after? Was also wondering whether it would be good to be taking anti-candida supplements such as probiotics, caprylic acid etc. whilst on the MMS?

According to Humble only vitamin C and ascorbic acid should be a concern. I would take the supplements as far away from the MMS as possible as it may oxidize them.
Yeast is a fungus and Humble Stated on a video that some skin fungus could be made worse with MMS.
Colloidal silver, and probiotics are good for killing off Candida.
I think its about 10 drops activated in 4 oz water and use this as a spray.
I doesn't need to be rinsed off if activated and diluted enough
Humble has recommended various strengths to use on the skin of as nasal douche
from 6 drops to 20 drops(in 4 oz) but if you use too much it can irritate.
I'm not too sure how frequently you would need to apply this to thrush as I don't think he has mentioned this specifically.
He says there is a kind of fungus that worsens with MMS but this is rare so he can't mean the common candida and I don't know what he means really.
He gives a method to deal with this on his site with some kind of clay or colloidal/ionic silver. You could try a CS spray alternatively.
I don't know why some people get candida symptoms with MMS, I didnt, perhaps it's the strain of candida being better able to defend itself or the individuals level of acidity so you have to try a lot of things and see if they work.
Maybe zapping could deal with it also
You can also apply yogurt to it directly . Theres a number of methods to try. I did find virgin coconut oil successful with skin fungus
I remember reading something in Jim Humbles book about different activators for the MMS agravating candida. I think it is the vinegar that can do this. I use lime juice but now that you have posted this, I have had a few yeast infections while on the MMS. Could it be Herx response?
If you need to take MMS then also consider a strict diet to be more effective.
Yeast infections can duplicate fast! Try to keep near your D level with MMS.
I've stuck to a pretty strict diet for the past 6 months. No sugar, wheat, yeast etc. even taking out fruit for a couple of months as well. I've tried antifungal treatments, colloidal silver, probiotics (and lots of it!), caprylic acid etc. etc. I was hoping MMS could be the solution. It seems that some have reported MMS helping candida whilst others have experienced worsening yeast infections.
I wonder whether the yeast infections are actually a part of the herx/recovery phase or if MMS is reinforcing the candida I've spent the last few months suppressing... It would be great to hear from those who have had candida and been helped by the MMS treatment :)
I totally doubt if it's MMS reinforcing the candida.
Lower the drops but hang on taking MMS and if it gets worse stop MMS. Get better and wait for a week or two, then go for another round. What I mean is don't jump to conclusions too quickly. I am positive you will get better results on your second round. That's my guess. I hope someone will show up who has experience with candida.
Jana said she had, so maybe you could send her a message?
or ldsfireguy?
I don't have candida, so i cant tell you with any experience. But I have other ailments and its also some kinds of fungi and i am having better results now as i am going along 16 drops x 2 daily.I have had these chronic diseases for years now so I don't expect it to cure overnight.
Wishing you wonderful healing.
I think that the candida can become resistant to mms and then you can have a problem similar to what you get with antibiotics. A way to avoid this is to build up the doses quickly and use a good dose for a week or so so you kill most without it recovering or gaining resistance which it could do by producing it's own antioxidants.
If you can't do this comfortably and you are only taking one dose a day then taking probiotics at the same time but separate from the MMS seems to work and thats what I did.
Plus deal with it externally with some yoghurt or colloidal silver as MMS may not work too well if the candida is resistant unless you use it stronger. Iodine supplementation is a good idea when you stop MMS and you could even take a little Lugols while using it.
I think zappers may work well against candida also and it's best to have something else that's efective that you can use in addition to MMS if candida is a problem.
Hit it with everything you can think of in other words but I'd avoid the antifungal drugs myself
And I had it before starting MMS several monthes ago and it has yet to go away.I recently had a Dr. perscribe Nystatin powder that you mix up twice a day in water, swish and swallow. And I also sugest a perscriiption like Diflucan. I'm not sure if you are aware or not but once you get yeast it is so difficult to rid of.
I also take Caprilic Acid and Oil of Oregeno, both are supose to help it.
And a good proibiotic will help to, I think one of the best out there is Theralac.com
I'm on my second day of 2x15 drops and not feeling as nauseous as the first day so far so good. Think I will persist to finish the couple of weeks and see how the candida responds to that, think I'll try to control the yeast with acidophilus douching, coconut oil etc. I have IBS as well and the candida seems to have worsened the symptoms of that for the time being, but hey, what do they say, you may feel worse before you feel better, right!
If the MMS doesn't help with the yeast infection I'll try a raw veggie juice detox after the 2 weeks on the 2x15 MMS and then alkaline diet to follow and see if that doesn't correct things again.
I'm sure MMS is a solution for so many things, for example one of my friend who has Herpes almost saw an instant reduction in symptoms after spending most of the summer on antibiotics and other prescriiption meds that weren't working. So it definitely works for some, lets hope it does the same for Candida and IBS ;)
If your taking it two times a day now at 15 drops that may help but try to
eat something probiotic as far away from the MMS as possible that may help control it a little more if it is resistant to MMS. With higher doses though it may not be so resistant.
I wouldn't carry on it too long at these doses though if it's not working
try something else for a while and take extra probiotics.
I said more about this in the post above
If you can hit it with something extra like a zapper or colloidal silver it may work better also but these also kill good bacteria. At least the candida can't resist them though
MMS does kill yeast bacteria but more on higher doses but take care, that probably means that its killing good bacteria too.
So like jonsher suggests take extra probiotics and/or lots of yogurt in your diet.
Candida is probably the most difficult case for MMS.
Good luck !
Thanks for that :) Hit the detox level today on my 3rd day at 2x15, had to go home from work due to nausea and then later threw up, some abdominal cramps as well, rather uncomfortable. Certain smells also seem to make me nauseous, thinking about resting the MMS tonight and starting again tomorrow on 12 drops and ramp up slower...
yes that happened to me on the 3rd day on 15 drops twice daily on my first course.
Stop MMS till you feel better and vamp up on your and antioxidant supplements. Take a break from MMS.
I am sure you killed a big deal of bacteria. When you feel better, just put 2 drops of unactivated MMS in 8 ounces of water or in your tea for 4 or 5 times daily. This will help in suppressing the the new growth of bacteria, till you feel ready again.
By the way drink lots of water to help to wash down.
Try to be prepared when you try again, like on a holiday when you don't have to work.
I have a MAJOR Candida infection--ranked a class 5 out of a class 6 and am only a few points away from a class 6. I was pretty much worthless before I started the regimine listed below and was told it would be several months before I started to see a relief of my symptoms. BUT, after only two weeks, I am feeling SO MUCH BETTER, with little to no Herx reaction. Most everything I got was from my local Vitamin Shoppe and I will list it here for anyone else who wants to know:
With breakfast:
Bromelian (The Vitamin Shoppe) 500 mg./2000 GDU, 2 capsules
Juice Plus Orchard Blend (this must be ordered from a supplier), 2 capsules
Thystlian (Nature's Way), 2 capsules
Dr. Mercola's Whole Food Vitamins Plus Mineral (ordered from mercola.com), 4 capsules
Primadolpholous (Nature's Way), 2 capsules
Adrenal Caps (Solaray), 2 capsules
With dinner:

Hi-
I haven't even gotten MMS yet but have some knowledge about why it is so hard to recover from some health issues.
Please go to and click on the tab above which says "About the Marshall Protocol" for a 3 page synopsis of the problem.
th-1 diseases are all the autoimmune diseases put into one category. The Marshall Protocol works for some people but it takes 3 to 5 years of discomfort and is downright difficult to follow for some of us. My doctor talked me out of it and he is heavily into naturopathic/homeopathics in spite of being a DO.
I am going to do the MMS1 protocol and may do the Aids protocol but at the same time I am going to use heavy duty food enzymes, probiotics and will occasionally use Nature's Sunshine's Candida Clear which is a 14 day product. (In between the MMS1 weeks?)
According to the newest research, our DNA is under attack. Basically fungi, bacteria and viruses are joining together in little colonies which are protected by Biofilm. In these little colonies the bugs swap DNA and mutate. And they swap their DNA with ours which makes it really hard to get rid of them - so it is a really long term process. The Biofilm keeps our immune system from even seeing the colonies. MMS1 punches holes in the biofilm. If I go on a regime of taking a tsp or so of colloidal silver every other day on top of the MMS1, I would allow my immune system to sit up and take notice, then go into action. I can make my own CS but I found that Nature's Sunshine makes a patented version called Silver Shield that can and does cross the blood brain barrier. I believe it has kept me alive and kicking the last few months. It is pricy though. I am interested in trying the ionic silver I saw advertised in one of the links from Mr. Humble's site to see if it works the same as it is much less expensive.
Getting off of sugar is imperative! I haven't entirely accomplished it yet. I am currently using agave nectar for sweetness because it is so much lower on the glycemic index but it is easy to use more and more if I get to craving sweets. Losing the cravings is what I have not been able to accomplish and I know it takes at least 4 days to push through the initial cravings. It's the secondary set of cravings for sweets that usually catches me off guard.
Nystatin powder is good. I use nyzoril shampoo for bathing yeast prone areas. Believe me - I am 60 years old and I let it go way too long. If I am not consistent with treatment every day I literally bleed when I wash myself. This candida stuff is not something with which to trifle. I began having it on my skin in the perineal areas at age 15 and I was NOT sexually active.
Mine has mixed with a psoriatic skin condition which I am finding relief from by using Usana's vitamin minerals in the little packets.
Be careful of using cortisone. Yes it stops the itching. It can also derail your immune system. The only thing that really stops the itching is staying off sugar.
I hope this helps.
I was taking citric acid with my mms and was told that was very bad for candida - as is vinegar. I am now taking it with lime juice. So far I haven't heard of any other alternatives for people with candida.
