I have severe Candida and severe adrenal exhaustion....background is that I had Lyme disease and took many many antibiotics, then had a baby, I'm 28...then came down with bad Candida. I saw a homeopath, who I have since ditched because I think he's an idiot and actually suggested I need antidepressants instead of giving me good advice on how to fix my problem. I have read Book 1 and the 108 and everything had made good sense to me. While doing the fruit diet, I started to feel good and even my hypoglycemia started to fade away...but then I got really sick feeling and my adrenals became even more depleted. I read that one with adrenal fatigue needs to stay away from fruits with high potassium like oranges and orange juice and wondered if this was giving me problems with my adrenals...do you find this to be true? It said it can throw off your salt/potassium balance, and I did find some problems with this, I had to swallow sea salt because I was severely dehydrated and kept peeing constantly. Also everything I've read about the adrenal fatigue diet says high protein and high whole grains and vegetables, which I just do not completely agree with and cannot bring myself to follow and disgusting diet like that. This whole thing also has me very nauseated and fruit juice is the only thing I crave, but critics will say that it's my body just looking for quick energy due to the adrenal fatigue. Thank You!!

MOST EVERYTHING IS A DEGREE OF CONSTIPATION BODY WIDE....THE BETTER THE CLEANSE, THE LESS SYMPTOMS. THE BAD ACIDS HAVE TO HAVE A WAY OUT...

NOT, YOU EITHER BELIEVE BOOK I OR NOT. I EAT ORANGES 2 MONTHS PER YEAR AND I SEE ZERO PROBLEMS WITH THEM AND BELIEVE THE DOCTOR OF BOOK I DID INDEED CURE 63,000 PATIENTS OF EVERY KNOWN DISEASE USING ORANGE JUICE AND PROPER DIET EDUCATION.

I swear that I did read and trust the books, I just can't understand why my body was and is protesting it and the adrenal fatigue was and is getting worse by the day.
The only reason I knew my adrenals were becoming more exhausted was because I was/am becoming more shaky, nervous, tired, upset, moody, hypoglycemic, etc. I have had no medical testing in awhile. There are some other physical symptoms of adrenal fatigue I have like thinning skin and dark pigmentation.
Hi there! I'm responding to your post because I have recovered from adrenal fatigue. I had it really bad. Panic attacks that sent me to the hospital thinking I was having a heart attack, night sweats, anxiety, etc. Of course, this was all before I knew about self-prevention. I haven't been to a doctor in almost five years now and I am healthier than I have ever been and I am turning 40 next year.
Anyway, what exactly are you consuming? I eat raw and my diet consists of fruit, nuts and cold pressed oils. MH doesn't condone this, but I do raw egg yolk too. Never any grains or dairy products.
I don't know exactly what your diet is like, but are you consuming any fats? Fats are very important to balancing your blood sugar and that helps keep your moods more stable. I find you need less fats as you heal, but your adrenals need lots of raw healthy fats when you are healing because your adrenals make all of your sex hormones and they need fats to do this job. The best fats are fruit fats like olive oil, coconut oil and avocado. Of course extra virgin. I eat fatty meals between my fruit meals to keep a healthy balance. I healed myself eating this way. I hope this helps. I saw a difference almost over night.

could you give a typical couple day's diet? Sounds like a pretty good one to me. I think when the traditional guys say "high protein" heals, they don't realize that raw egg yolk might be the best around...assuming it's the very best you can get.
I don't eat raw eggs, but used to, in a homemade ceasar salad, which was a major part of my diet in years past when studying. Do you have no vegetables?
I'm sure your methods will be of inspiration to many who've suffered with what the poster has. PS did you do the orange juice fast/cleanse as well?
By fatty meal, I mean something like guacamole salad, a cucumber-tomato salad with ev olive oil, or I put chopped nuts or olive oil in chopped up fruit. I really don't eat veggies, only carrots every once in a while.
As for egg yolk, I don't want to talk about them too much since MH doesn't advocate them, but they actually contain a lot of good nutrients. Cooking is what makes high protein foods bad for us. They do all these studies about how bad certain fats are for us, but they leave out the fact that they have been heated and heat chemically changes food. EY is high in lecithin and other vitamins which feed the adrenals. I usually do two or three a day.
I follow a diet that goes by what we are biologically designed to eat. It leaves out grains, dairy and vegetables. I have been eating this way for four years and feel better than I ever have. And when I cheat, it is not worth it! Haha! Sometimes I get side tracked, but I never go under 80% raw. The web site is freeacnebook.com and waisays. Check it out if you would like.
