If Obama had thought for a minute that the only way for him to get elected was for his grandmother to perish, he likely would have held the pillow over her head himself. And McCain would have done the same thing. And don't even think about going there and telling me Hillary would not have done that to Bill (or Bill to Hillary).
Failure to realize that is merely failure to see how corrupt politics truly are at the highest level and what type of people rise (or sink) to the top.

I did not contemplate 'manipulation' when Obama's grandmother passed over because I 'see' those two as a loving relationship, my sceptism and knowledge of "political history" was never in the frame.
I am blatantly aware of "dirty politics" my friend, "bent cops", etc. etc.
One also has to be pretty naive not to accept that if one "rises" through to the top of their profession in any walk of life that it's construed that "boots have stood on someones neck" on the way, but to believe that happens ALL the time is naive as well because this planet would be in complete turmoil, run by mob-rule.
To use ones Grandmother in her final moments of life to make capital would only rear it's ugly head from a mindless dysfunctional family.
One truly cannot put all this "obnoxious behaviour" under one umbrella, for if we do we would join the ranks of the "mindless dysfunctional family" with not a scrap of self-respect.
As an observer I see the USA at the crossroads of losing it's place as the most powerful nation ever. The rest of the world looks on as the giant tries to regain it's foothold, one might laugh but it's true.
So when I see trivia blown out of all proportion on this forum, I see the fear that can engulf us all.
To us 'outsiders' the USA is the "Keystone" to the survival of the 'free world' if that disappears we are all in deep trouble, so help us God.

I wonder if anyone will even question whether she was on life support and if someone had power of attorney to take her off life support. That would give quite a bit of leeway in deciding when she would be taken off life support.

Who the hell is going to vote for Obama because his grandmother that most people have never heard of or seen dies? And at 86 years of age to boot? She was old, had cancer and died. It's not that big of a story. People sitting on the fence in Ohio and Pennsylvania aren't going to vote for him because they feel sorry for his grandmother.
Dick Durbin's daughter (40yo) died from a lifelong congenital heart disease on Saturday. It didn't get enough media coverage... so they had to off Obama's grandmother in order to ensure the sympathy vote. *sarcasm off*
