For years I was sedentary, though on occasion I accomplished projects where I worked flat out...with both brain and body.
My symptoms finally took me to a place where I was unable to move quickly in day to day tasks, though I still did major projects from time to time, some in sections, and some only stopping for short breaks. I found I liked keeping at, say, gardening, free to sit for a while when I really needed to.
My heavy work was hard on the adrenals, I believe. The areas at the sides of the waist ached at these times.
A few months ago I started helping, outdoors, sorting bottles and cans for recycling. Symptoms disappeared while working.
Part of the pleasure in doing this is that I work entirely at my own speed, and the task goes much quicker when there are two of us. I love the sun on my skin, the air, and the boost to the speed of my metabolism.
Work sessions usually last an hour, hour and a half, sometimes two...say, three times per week.
Another source of great pleasure, for me, is knowing our stash is sorted, tidy, and ready for the next load.
Yesterday I had an aha! moment. I realized that we operate in three different time warps...the future, the past, and the now.
This job is very much in the now.
And I carry the energy into other things I do.
I think working this way is beginning to up my metabolism quite nicely. It may sound odd but I sometimes measure my metabolism with beets...how long it takes them to pass, and now, whether or not they color my urine. Someone said that, when your system is operating at more efficiency, beets do not color urine. Well, six beets, eaten over 4 - 6 hours colored my urine only a tiny bit, the palest of pinks.
And, the aches/stiffnesses at the sides don't happen any more...from the movement, I believe. [Also from a distance bio-energy treatment, from a Domancic Method practitioner.]
My weight is coming down, slowly...which is pretty hard to do when one is 70...going on 32.
Parasite symptoms are slowly fading, as well, thanks to Humaworm and other good things I am doing.
I'm only guessing, as I take on things as I can, that it is total harmony that helps most...the key being to do appropriate things as each seems like a good idea.
Giving up bread, and anything with yeast, like vinegar, beer, etc., has been a great idea for me. Also things of the nightshade family...white potatoes, tomatoes, sweet peppers, eggplant, and tobacco. You'll find you can take them back, to some extent, as you get stronger.
Sugar, too, of course, is a no-no...though it is in so many things and I am not that rigid.
Slowly I am beating the parasite question, I believe. There are lots of parts to being well.
