What I heard that I hadn't noticed before was that it is simply the movements of the hands that guarantee success.
I guess that students hear the simple premise that the body heals itself, restores the immune system, when the aura is energized...and that we can feel any blockages or constrictions in another person, somehow.
And then they are taught the movements of the hands used in Mr. Domancic's method, putting energy in, or taking it out...where needed...without discussion.
I've done a lot of pondering on the 'statements' of intention, by the healer.
Maybe I've been looking up too close.
Maybe the healing, smoothing energy of the hands is all that is important. And, maybe we all have it, and just need to let it out.
I think of all the influences folks bring with them to this clinic. It's likely that they have things like metal fillings in their mouths, past surgeries, and pollutants...maybe they even bring their worries and complaints with them, too.
So, how can they be lifted out of all that?
Last night's viewing seemed to fair shout at me that hand movements are the basis of the Domancic method. They speak of their students learning for sure...with ease.
When I was Googling, before, I saw that there are other healers, unconnected to this clinic and method.
Too, the movements I saw in the film look very much like those used by my 'Touch for Health' kinesiologist.
Maybe there are hand movements that work, period...and the only difference between healers is presentation of the same system.
I know that I have been focusing on 'statements', and 'intentions'. Maybe I don't need to. Maybe all we need is in our hands.
Or, in our eyes. Or, in the 'intentions' we were all born with.
Golly, I might not even need all this 'thinking' I do. (Blush!)

UPDATE...
I was wrong in my earlier estimation that there might be any 'psychic' element to this healing method.
I experienced a session of treatment, by calling practitioner Silvia Sivec in Montreal, and found there was no intrusiveness to the procedure at all.
I now believe we all have the capacity to assist another's energy field, whether or not we are beside them.
More than that, I now believe the benefit recieved depends entirely on the receptivity of the subject...our 'openness'.
In other words, that any of us may 'block' energy coming our way.
As I now see it, human beings are awash in energy, simply because we exist...but, we are the only creatures able to shape how that energy manifests through ourselves...whether we understand 'how', or not.
I can hardly believe I wrote the above sentence!
I know it refers somehow to our ability to choose, but please don't ask me to explain!
All I wanted to do, in adding to this post, is to tell you that the Zdenko Domancic method of distance 'healing', assisting others, works.
In my case, it seems to work in ways I did not expect...in ways I have not experienced before, or, at least, in ways I have not noticed before.
I suspect that it works because I 'allowed' it to, simply by being 'open' to improvement.

"Golly, I might not even need all this 'thinking' I do. (Blush!)"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
fledgling, i say this with no intended condescension, but I think, "yes!" And I sense that a part of the "healing" you received from the lady in Montreal is a healing of the tear between thought and knowing. In any case, it's all good.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I know that I have been focusing on 'statements', and 'intentions'. Maybe I don't need to. Maybe all we need is in our hands."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think your assessment of the Domancic way of teaching, via the hands, is really getting close to 'the secret', which is far less complex that we usually imagine.
"typical", one might say. Okay, it is a bit complicated, (only because our heads
get in the way!)
My sense is the important intention actually lies *behind*, or 'prior to' the elaborate layering of thought that gets very bound up with personality; with highly personal experience; with "what I've learned through sheer working at it with my faculties"; with "i am going to activate LOA now", and all that kind of engagement.
We're always trying to *do something* with our heads.(
If you see what I mean: it is as though intention itself, may be rather more pure in nature than "our intentions", or "my intention", but the big healing as i see it, that has to occur to get to this decomplexifying simplicity is one of repairing the ripped connection between this body ( any one) and its intuition.
Fix that, and you have a strong clear channel for energy that is unbound. "universal energy" that some show a great capacity to stream through their beings, and to 'give' to others, and that others are very blocked to. But it is a choice, yes.
Whether to receive the energetic 'assistance'. And we have to consider the contracts that were made prior to this incarnation. Lots of intricacies, as apply to my friend. That we might not be conscious of these contracts or karmic decidings right now is a small thing really, in the greater -beyond suffering- schematic of the cosmos.
But here's where a lot of *choice* also comes into effect: with readers deciding, "I don't believe in that", but it's a little like one's not believing in sky or trees. Believing or not doesn't alter the fact.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"As I now see it, human beings are awash in energy, simply because we exist...but, we are the only creatures able to shape how that energy manifests through ourselves...whether we understand 'how', or not."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I think this is true, or *almost true*, because I also see that sometimes choice has been accessed ( not an easy thing at all, but it can happen )such that an animal may be an incarnation of a very evolved consciousness, choosing to manifest as such for the good of many others. And such an animal can be a healer, unseen by most people, simply because they don't "have eyes to see". This might seem a leap here, but Jesus was a great master, (who had nothing to do with churches in his time) and when he spoke/taught of the effect of the single eye he said "the whole body shall be filled with light", and, "greater things than I do, you shall do" -- something the church in its worldliness does not want your average person to "believe in", for it would liberate people from the tyranny of 'thought' and ideas of themselves as small, and sinners. This single eye that he spoke of, is not possible to consider without first clearing the way of obstacles and "illusion" (ill light). It is illusion that we are a body, with a mind and then a field. And simply to say we are spiritual beings having a physical experience -as many people say today- is usually mostly still a fluffy thought, rather than a true recognition. This world-wide illusion causes no end of suffering, because the thought system that sees things this way is funda-mentally in error. It hasn't "sinned", but it is in error.
And to make matters worse, most everyone is practicing life out of the same errors, and sharing these; building communities founded on shared error that are seeking to strengthen themselves. This intention may be good, but the foundation is inherently flawed. That's why I say *the important intention* lies behind or prior to all this. It is so much simpler than what hides it, that it is almost impossible to locate
with the ordinary eyes. so "If thine eye be single"....
My intuition tells me that this is partly where the domancic method directed its energies, with you. Toward this 'singling' of the eye. And this could be achieved in very basic terms -just speculating here: by removing excess, stagnant energy, and allowing more flow where there is 'lack'. If the body has an innate wisdom, and knows how to heal itself, given the go-ahead from all levels of self, most critically, the so called "higher" self, then who's to say how the energy is actually utilized within this system we call "me". But imagine, that this might be done with just the hands moving in specific ways, and far less 'thought' or 'specific intention' than we might have imagined -- yes, I agree, this is a radical intuiting. I notice a big shift in your 'thinking'. Less struggle, more grace. which is wonderful to 'see'.
So, apparently the method involves very specific movements or 'prescriptions'--a thought I actually found quite disappointing at first, somehow.
Now I see that the many who've never received a diagnosis but have serious and 'factual' conditions, are the ones the method knows it probably can't interfere with: these conditions are likely arising through *prior (transpersonal) agreements*.
I think I was quite wedded to a mode of generalized healing that knew by itself what to do. That simply 'makes sense' to me, knowing that often it is we who are in the way of anything that seems apart from us.
What I mean is, i saw that as a discouraging allopathic idea and approach, since diagnoses are so often simply the names for a bunch of symptoms anyway whose 'cause' -which is so often one of stagnation or "constipation" in broad terms- is not even understood.
But now I'm beginning to see how the method could indeed address this "excess" and "lack" as Domancic and Yuen et aI speak of their methods. I see that he is very wise in the way this is being taught and disseminated. He is working hard to not have the method, and by extension all of "healing" be dismissed and demonized.
His studies and results (repeated lab tests and so on) are important to his being able to continue on, unhindered, unattacked. And for the method not to be treated as magic, since he has these very specific 'prescriptions'. Yes, I think you are right--it must be that so much of this is in the hand movements. One has a sinus issue, for example, and the movements relate to clearing the liver, clearing stagnation and excess from the associated systems. I'm sure the feedback to the 'healer' tells her where to move next and how clear the body now is. But there is a
strong intention element at work too I think. I just don't feel it is one that one 'puts on', which is so much the way we as humans all tend to approach stuff. I think the intention that's at work here is one that is revealed behind all the stuckness, the excess and lack. I mean, first, one has to be cleared in order to do this work.
It may look like the healing is physical, but so often (i'm convinced of this) it's not physical at all, though if the physical is 're-oriented', th non-physical can move forward, just the way an auditorium empties or fills up, with the movement of bodies.
I do wonder sometimes about how the method in its entirety came to Zdenko. He's naturally quite non-personal when he speaks of it, i think. He clearly did not arrive at it all through the intellectual faculties though, or even the knowledge of eastern meridian systems, etc. etc. (as with Kam Yuen), although i think he is wise and reflective to speak so consistently pragmatically about it all. And to take such pains to embrace the scientific world, for truly, I think he has recognized that this is "the science" that Science is moving toward, which is not so much science at all but what Jesus might have recognized and taught as simply one's natural inheritance, if one was to strip away the false. A science that goes to a place of prior grace. Things are indeed simpler than we can *yet* imagine. Rather tenderly ironic, isn't it?
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"I know it refers somehow to our ability to choose, but please don't ask me to explain!"
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
ah--this is wondrous stuff, this kind of recognition. One of the glimmerings in there to me is that when one chooses, one is "chosen". It is like an instant blessing that naturally moves in both directions. To be "chosen" then, is not to be more special than others, but to see others as oneself, and to have chosen to choose. I'm not trying to be funny here--that is the kind of intention i think you are seeing as being the non-intention, or maybe it should be called simply 'prior intention'. That gets to the idea of an intention that a loving Mother/Father has for a divine child, and that the divine child discovers one day, under the bed; or after s/he has thrown out a lot of stuff s/he was hanging onto.
But in pragmatic, grounded terms, ( which is a nice place to float back down to, so that we can enjoy some tea :-) we as human beings having choice -- well, yes, but most of us squander that. We have choice in that it is only humans who can actually recognize we are not these bodies. That is a huge gift. Animals are (mostly) completely identified with their bodies and sensation. They do not have the ability to "witness" that human consciousness does. They may have great concentration, as in watching for predators or prey, but that is not the same as the conciousness that can witness its own formations, as in meditation. So, we are able to 'use the mind to study the mind', which is both a little silly (especially if we start to feel "special") and quite miraculous. The latter moreso, when we feel the inpouring of humility and gratitude. When we locate that prior intention that was waiting for us, like a Christmas to end all box-sized christmases. :-)
But it's a tricky thing, this "bittersweet symphony", as The Verve calls it. The more we think we are 'here', the more likely we are to have tricked ourselves again, and separated ourselves from that capacity for 'healing'.
best to you, Fledgling, and thank you for sharing this Domancic experience and giving me the opportunity to reflect on this.
There's so much (recognition) between the lines of what you say, that I can feel the flowering of it all
It took me a while, and I apologize for that, but I needed to read your post, thoroughly, twice...and I have just finished leaving my computer entirely alone for quite a while, for 'cleaning' of viruses, spyware, etc.
We found a computer genius who has grown naturally into his craft, from being blinded in a car crash.
In a way, he personifies exactly the natural human talents we are speaking of. He is working from memory, assisted by the 'voice' capabilities of a program that reads the screen for him, and by anyone who takes the time to sit beside him and read for him, which speeds things considerably.
He does have some vision, which fluctuates wildly. Currently it seems like a narrow 'tunnel' in which he has no perception of depth, or whether things are more left or right, or up or down. He explains that he may reach for the salt shaker, and knock over the coffee cup which is in front and slightly to the right.
Basically, he goes on to explain, he can't see anything below his elbows. When he is managing a cranky computer, he 'tries' things, very much aware of his wish to do no harm.
I tell him he is a born teacher, for he is. He is so good that the majority of his work is done over the telephone...he 'talks' a client through the steps he has found most helpful, screen by screen, page by page...because he remembers them, and because he has the patience of Job.
Not only is he coaxing performance from the machine, but he helps clients to easily understand places they have never seen before.
I also tell him he should speak, publicly, or to groups interested in his subjects.
He is 58, and has always had astonishing adventures and interests and memory. His stories, alone, and the way he tells them, would make a rollicking book.
No, he gets no income from his talents, probably because he has no experience of 'business', and our town charges large fees for formal enterprises...also, 'religious' folk hereabouts tend to be very poor, and look at even the fairest of 'profits' somewhat askance.
Still...there are ways.
Memory is a wonderful thing.
We only need to hear, or think, the word 'home', and instantly remember its meaning to us, through all of our senses.
More, we may instantly change that meaning in any way we prefer by applying new words...manufacturing new 'memories' on the spot...ones that we will 'remember' forever, if we wish.
But we trip over our concerns about 'reality'.
To my mind, 'reality' doesn't matter. The most important part is that we CAN feel and think and create...where and when we wish...unless we are 'stuck' in a concept, for whatever reason.
I think my experience with Silvia Sivec was effective because of my own receptivity...my own willingness to accept a fresh possibility...my 'openness'.
I mean, what do I know about 'energy' and its workings? ...Zilch.
But I do have memories of well-being...whether or not I can account for them.
A long time ago I acknowledged that the body must have cellular memory, from even before I was aware of thinking.
I proved that by accepting that every cell in my body knows how to be sixteen years old, tacking up a picture of myself at sixteen, and losing 65 pounds in eight months.
I should be surprised that experiences and feelings from that era jumped to the forefront???
And that ways of 'how' to make the change, that I had only recently learned, came into play, too. I threw out White Sugar and white flour, and ground my own grains.
The crunch between the effectiveness of this inborn talent, which we all have, and the so-called 'realities' of my then current life, caused me a nice little nervous breakdown, which took me directly to the life I have today, over a very bumpy road.
Bit by bit, awakening by awakening, I am reminding myself of the possibility that the Domancic 'method', however it is constructed, CAN be just as effective.
Once again I am astonished at my own concepts that are either 'in the way', or wonderfully helpful.
I have built a new 'memory', of sitting quietly, palms upward, while Silvia did whatever she does, and I began to heal in ways I had never dreamed possible.
The improvements just come, slowly or suddenly, as I become 'ready', I guess.
I mean, to suddenly feel a couple of masses of what I think are parasites, stop all activity, which I have been feeling for a couple of years, is rather 'miraculous', I think.
Or, was it my fifth round of Humaworm that did the trick? Or, does it really matter what was the exact 'cause', or combination of 'causes'? I am here, and I have more to do...and I am enjoying the transformation.
I don't feel 70 at all, more like going on 32! But I behave myself, and no one guesses my fancifulness, I hope.
And, even though they might, I think a little fancifulness is a good thing in this 'oh so serious' world.
I wouldn't be surprised that we all learn all the truths to all our questions, to our great satisfaction and peacefulness, at the 'end'...no matter our 'thinking' abilities throughout life. ...No matter even if we have been no better than we should be.
I think the power is still the same, whatever we do or believe. For the life of me I can't conceive of any 'evil' that is stronger. Probably someones notion, I think...unfounded.
But, then, I've read Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, and oodles of 'psychics' who say we are all about thirty, or so, on 'the other side'...and whole...and content.
Perhaps, 'here', is simply an exercise in possibilities. I don't know.
I do know this, that when one is in the middle of a crisis, time gets skewed.
Feeling every detail of falling on my face, one at a time, chin, teeth, nose jammed up and back, I had time to notice, for example, that my cheekbones held, didn't break, as I went on to notice my covered eyeballs flatten, a bit, and then my forehead take the imprint of the metal doorsill...perfectly aware of where my husband was, and lookee-loos, as I screamed his name.
All I wanted was his healing hands on my head, to prevent the serious headache between my eyes that I knew was in store. (It didn't materialize.)
If our perception of time, for one thing, can alter so easily, maybe there is no 'old' age.
Some things can keep some seniors perpetually smiling! They just enjoy life.
As Forrest Gump said, he didn't know if things were just floating around on the breeze, kind of accidental-like, or if there is a planned destiny, but he suspected kind of a bit of both...I think maybe we are often our own planners, and choose how pleased we are at the outcomes...or how embarrassed.
But, for sure, I think we go to great satisfaction, any and all of us, unless we get stuck in a poor mind-set.
Even then, we have no perception of time, or 'punishment', and can be helped on our way to the light, I believe.
So, if that's where we are going, anyway, why not aim for it while we live? ...Much more enjoyable than any other way to live, in any case.
I've been writing this for a long time, and have forgotten some of what I wanted to say...except that I wish you well, and those you love.
Happy Christmas, good Chiron...and the finest of New Years.
May 2009 bring us all the realization of all our dreams...worldwide.
