How many calories do I 'count' when I juice something? Does it depend on the fruit or veggie? My typical juice consists of maybe 2 handfuls of spinach, 4 carrots and an apple. I am trying to get my diet down to a Science and need to know how many calories (pro-carb-fat) I am taking in. Thanks for your help.
Thanks for sharing. I do not know what to expect.I have only 2 left in my mouth right now and they are in the badly infected root canals. I think root canals are compromising myimmune system and hence I have the hypothyroidism last 9 years. I am hoping that my throid will start working again and I will feel normal again after this Amalgam issue. I am really confused about the whole chelation thing but I am not going to do anything firstcouple of months after the surgery.I will let my body heal and then look for the best way of chelating.
Nils...I really don't know the answer to that and have never researched it. If
you're changing your diet to a healthy diet with juicing...and leaving off the
sugar and other bad foods...you're almost going to have to take in less calories.
If I have time later...I'll look in to that. HOWEVER...I have been wondering about
you. Did you look in to becoming a 'health minister' or consultant? Just wondered
if you ordered the magazine from Hallelujah Acres...if you did...you'll be addicted
when it comes...because you're already interested in diet and exercise...and this
information will just pull you right on in. :-) Good luck!!!
I did order it, however I have not received it as of yet.
I am trying to be very precise in my diet and just need to know the unknown of my juicing :) Daily about 1 1/2cups organic spinach, 3 med-lrg carrots and 1 apple.
I just typed in 'carrot juice + calories'...hit search and it popped right up...
there are 94 calories in one cup of carrot juice...
so you should be able to type in any fruit or veggie that way and find out.
I didn't go ahead and look that website or the others over because I'm rushed
for time right now...but I will later.
I'm so glad you asked...I had no idea...and now "I" know.
Thanks, kathryn
Mi amor, I don't think counting calories is necessary. As long as you're consuming healthful Nature foods, your body will be nourished and in its intelligence it will derive the best from what you're consuming. Take avocados for instance; yes, they are full of fat and have a high calorie content, but they are SO good for you! My boyfriend lost weight as he ate up to 6 avocados a day.
You don't need to count calories as long as you're eating from Nature's Garden.
Feed your body and soul what it craves... Love. You Are Love. :)
Actually I am getting back into competitive athletics and have put on a lot a muscle in the last few months, but now need to start shedding some fat while attempting to keep my gains. Through increased cardio and slight calorie maniplulation is how I intend to do it. Although I don't need to change the juicing whatsoever, I'd still like to now it's value. My system is so fired up that I am losing weight on 3500 calories a day right now!
